The Lutheran Church of St John in Aizpute is on Beidas Hill, which is near the steep river valley of the Tebra River and the Dzirnavdīķis pond which the river has created. The church is on an ancient Courlandian castle hill. The current Gothic appearance of the church dates back to 1860, when it was rebuilt. The tower dates back to 1730. This is one of the oldest churches in Kurzeme, and it features an interesting interior with many artistic monuments. |

St. Anna Roman Catholic Church of Bērzgale. The Church was
built in 1770 and sanctified in 1776. The building is an example of Baroque style with a woodcarved altar
and two pictures of Virgin Mary. The church resembles Aglona Basilica.

Z / S "Kaņepītes" is a family company founded in 1992. The farm takes its name from the name of the house given to it in 1924. Organic farm where cereals are grown and processed into food. The production of the products is small, but the technique has an ancient atmosphere, a stone, wooden mill that gives a special taste and aroma to flour and oatmeal. This medieval saloon is a true Middle Ages saloon situated on the premises of the Ventspils Castle of the Livonian Order, next to which the river Venta flows. These two lakes, along with Lake Mazezers, Lake Auziņš, Lake Skuja and Lake Bruņķītis, are found in a sub-glacial depression with shores and hillsides that are home to various kinds of forest, including stands of broadband trees such as ash. These are protected habitats. Alongside the Priedītes homestead there is a well-appointed nature trail for visitors who wish to study Lake Dziļezers and its surroundings. A boating facility is on the north-eastern shore of the Lake.

The Buse (Matkule) castle hill is next to the Imula River. The hill and the opposite bank of the river offer one of the loveliest views of small rivers in Kurzeme. They are best seen during the season when trees are bare so that leaves do not cover up the landscapes. There are trails for pedestrians in the area. |

The Priekule Lutheran Church was built around 1680 and rebuilt a century later, in 1892. In 2005, the church tower was improved, and visitors to the church can now use it as a viewing platform. They can see the place where Icarus of Priekule supposedly made his first “flight.” |
