Kaislīgiem kalnu slēpotājiem Milzkalns ir 20 minūšu braucienā ar mašīnu. Savukārt putnu vērotājiem būs ko darīt visu cauru gadu, jo pie Kaņiera ezera ir 2 putnu vērošanas torņi.
