The farm breeds several species of chinchillas and offers a look at them. There are also decorative pheasants, peacocks, doves and different kinds of chickens, along with marmots, dwarf goats, chipmunks, rabbits, a pony, etc. You can purchase chinchillas, decorative birds and other animals, along with quail eggs, chinchilla pelts and souvenirs. There are also ponds for fishing.

The Jokas farm is 4 km to the East of Turlava.  Owner Jānis Uzulēns has purposefully developed and expanded the farm ever since it was established in 2011.  He is particularly proud of his herd of beef cows, some 70 in all, as well as of five horses.  The farm produces sausages and other meat products and also offers services such as managing forests and fisheries.

Information about this stream dates back to the mid-18th century, but people used it much earlier than that.  People donated money to the stream after washing or drinking the water.  During the first half of the 19th century, the baron of Tirza and the local church waged a battle against pagan traditions, though not very successfully.  There is now a canopy over the stream, and people still drink its water.

Kadarbiku estate is located in Harju, in the municipality Saue, in the village Tula (Tuula). Agriculture started to work here in 1989, while the family company Kadarbiku Köögivili OÜ was established in 2004. Kadarbik farms specializes in growing and processing vegetables. The farm uses 500 hectares of land, which grows carrots, cabbage, beets and various summer crops. They also make juices and smoothies.

The monument is at the location where the P100 road to Ozolnieki and Jelgava splits away from the A8 highway.  The monument is dedicated to soldiers from the 6th Rīga Infantry Company who perished or disappeared during battles against the army of Bermont on November 17, 1919, near the former Skuju Elementary School.  The monument was designed by Nikolajs Voits, the bas relief was designed by Mārtiņš Šmalcs, and the consultant for the project was the great sculptor Kārlis Zāle.  The monument was unveiled on October 24, 1937, and restored in 2009.

This chapel is interesting in form and made of field stones.  It was built in the 19th century and is not open to the public.

Fruit and berry wine has been made at the Tori Jõesuu Cider and Wine Farm since its beginnings. The people currently living there are inspired by the experiences of their ancestors and value the fruits and berries that grow from the local Soomaa soil, which has a particular composition. The old feral apple tree, which grows in the yard, is particularly special because its golden apples have an unusual taste which makes the Tori Jõesuu Cider Farm cider unique. The visit also includes a tour of a genuine Nordic vineyard. The Cider tour around Tori Jõesuu Cider and Wine Farm on the edge of Soomaa has been awarded the EHE (Genuine and Interesting Estonia) quality label. The farm introduces guests to the secrets of good cider and wine making, the special features of the cultivation of northern grapes, as well as offers catering and organises tastings.

Pilsētas aizsargdambi upes labajā krastā (1830. - 1841., autors kara inženieris P. Meļņikovs) cēla ar mērķi aizsargāt pilsētu no applūšanas. Dambis stiepjas 5,6 km garumā. Pēc 1922. g. postošajiem plūdiem uzsākta aizsargdambja celtniecību arī Daugavas pretējā - kreisajā krastā.
