Nature restricted area is established to protect various wetland habitats – Big Kirba Bog and protected plant species within it. Only the West part of the Bog is a protected nature area. The rest of the bog is used mainly for intensive extraction of peat and large cranberry cultivation. Nature restricted area of the bog has no tourism infrastructure therefore is not useable for tourist visits.

The Grandboulder of Komultēni is situated in Sakstagals rural municipality in the forests; around 700
m from Jēkabpils – Rezekne road to the NE of Komultēni. The flat top and the sides are cracked. Boulder consists
of the magmatized gneiss. The circuit of the boulder is 15 m, length 5 m, width 3 m, height 1.8 m,
capacity about 20 m3.

This labyrinth covers 3,300 m2. Visitors can make their way through the maze, trying to find the exit and handling clever tasks at some of the special twists and turns in the labyrinth. There is a playground for children, along with a workshop, a mud café and the “fir tree village.” |

Церковь можно осмотреть изнутри. |

This route leads through the Curves of Daugava nature park, which is an area that was once to be flooded for the construction of the Daugavpils hydroelectric power plant. The central artery in the park is the ancient Daugava River valley, and the specific here is eight grand curves with a length of 4-6 km. The highest banks of the river are at the so-called Daugava gate, with the mighty Ververi and Slutiški cliffs. More than ½ of the territory is forested for hiking, nature watching, berry picking and mushroom hunting. The Daugava River valley has one of the greatest diversities of flora -- >800 different kinds in all. This is also a multinational environment with Lettigalian, Lithuanian, Polish, Russian and Belarusian traditions and heritage. The "Stender's" bar is situated in the centre of the city of Kuldiga at the start of Liepājas Street, which is the main pedestrian and biking thoroughfare in Kuldīga. The two-story wood building was once a granary and is of architectural importance. The bar is situated on the second floor of the building, with the lowest door jambs in Kuldiga and wooden shears in the bar. Kādreiz daudzie vējdzirnavu stāvi bija raksturīga Zemgales vēsturiskajam novadam, ko pamatoti dēvē par Latvijas „maizes klēti”. Diemžēl līdz mūsdienām ir saglabājušies tikai daži. 3 km to the south of the centre of Jūrkalne, near the old (gravelled) road between Liepāja and Jūrkalne, is the place where the three-year Feliksberga Maritime School existed between 1871 and 1902. The building is long gone, and the memorial has involves an oaken boat with two wooden poles on which old ownership signs have been engraved. |

This is a unique small town in a certain sense, and it is the only one in the Baltic States which has remained in place since the 17th and 18th century. The town is around the small Alekšupīte River, and in some places the stream runs along the walls of the buildings. Because of this fact and the many bridges that are in town, Kuldīga has become known as “the Venice of Latvia.” Baznīcas, Liepājas, Kalna and other streets are full of interesting cultural monuments. |

Latvia's first grape selector, Pauls Sukatnieks (1914-1989) lived at Apsītes. The house has been restored and contains household and farm equipment, as well as Sukatnieks' library and office. The garden that surrounds the house has local and introduced colourful plants and trees, including rare ones. Visitors can look at the types of grapes that Sukatnieks developed, as well as his vineyard. Alongside the homestead is an information stand about birdwatching in the Dviete wetlands. You can tour the garden and house in the company of a guide. There is space for relaxation and picnics, and the homestead organises work sessions and educational events. |

St. Anna Roman Catholic Church of Bērzgale. The Church was
built in 1770 and sanctified in 1776. The building is an example of Baroque style with a woodcarved altar
and two pictures of Virgin Mary. The church resembles Aglona Basilica.
