Маршрут ведет по южной части исторического края Курземе и включает самые интересные туристические объекты, различные прибрежные пейзажи, и через Земгале возвращается в Ригу. На участке от Юркалне до Лиепаи маршрут идет вдоль побережья Балтийского моря, которое еще двадцать лет назад было закрытой режимной приграничной зоной, в которую попасть можно было только с наличием специального разрешения. В маршрут входят охраняемые природные территории, открытые для посетителей сельские хозяйства, в которых можно как попробовать, так и приобрести качественную продукцию, выдающиеся памятники культуры, Лиепая с выдающимся спектром военного наследия в Военном порте (Каросте) и оживленная Елгава, где обязательно надо подняться на башню церкви Святой Троицы для обозрения окрестностей. The beautiful, tidy and artfully laid out farmstead is situated in Jaunpiebalga district. The farmstead is naturally encorporated into the landscape, the old barn is renovated and its top floor is a place for the owner’s workshop and exhibition (she is a softwares artist). The old log house has also been renovated, and the sauna has been rebuilt. A small river flows through the farmstead, and there is also a Tuleja mound on the territory, which is a natural landmark protected by the state. |

The Slutiški Old Believers House features a museum focusing on the cultural environment and traditions of the Old Believers. This is a simple one-story building with a cross on its roof. The Pitrags congregation was established in 1890, but the church was built in 1902. It was restored after a World War I fire in 1925 and 1926, and restored again during the period of Latvia's restored period of independence. |

Началом набережной на улице Остас в восточной ее части служит «Тиргоню дарзс» (здесь же Вентспилсский ТИЦ) и Юракменс. Набережная украшена скульптурами коров, памятниками, фонтанами и цветочными композициями. До середины прошлого столетия на улице Остас находились склады - амбары, часть из которых сохранилась. Напротив замка Ливонского ордена установлен памятник Кришьянису Валдемару. У пристани стоит кораблик «Герцог Екаб». |

The “Kukaburra” café is located on the 115th km of the Riga-Veclaicene highway (A2). It is possible to see the Bread museum. Guests can take part in baking rye bread every weekend. The café has a Latvian interior and serves products from local farmers and home-based producers of ingredients.
