Guest house "Šubrakkrasti" is located in Madona region, Bērzaune parish, 8 km from Lake Kāla, in a quiet place surrounded by nature. Guests have access to 7 rooms of different sizes and comfort, a sauna, a lounge, a ballroom and a wide range of leisure facilities. There is a shared lounge with a fireplace and a TV. There is a fully equipped shared kitchen for preparing meals. In summer, tent, caravan and camper sites are also available. An array of activities are offered in the area, such as cycling, fishing, meadow golf, hiking, campfire soup and more.
"Šubrakkrasti" is also a non-standard farm, which offers excursions - both for guest house guests and groups of tourists and students. During the tour you will get acquainted with the history of the house (previously there was a dairy), the owner of the house Raimonds Aizstrauts - factory equipment production workshop, his motorsports (four-time USSR champion in motorsports) and works on CNC and laser engraving equipment. Walk through the well-groomed countryside, which includes a mountain with a serpentine road, landscaped gardens, ponds, etc. There are also creative workshops - a soap maker or gift box making.

The boat "Gulbis" goes on trips along the Daugava, revealing the history of Koknese and Likteņdārzs, the stories of the Daugava, and will become a witness to today's story. It invites you to go along, enjoy, explore, remember, dream and relax, rinsing the waves of the Daugava, in complete peace, enjoying the sounds of nature and the stories of an audio guide. The boat can accommodate up to 20 guests on board.

A collection of peonies in the garden in Ķesterciems which is just 300 metres from the sea.  The collection has been put together over the course of many years, with some that were first grafted in the 18th century and others that are completely new varieties.  Each year the range is supplemented, with a bit more than 800 different kinds right now.  Peony blossoms are at their peak attractiveness around mid-June.

The Berghof Milk Estate with saunas. The weekend sauna at the estate offers a country sauna and the holiest type of traditional sauna – the black rock sauna. This is a ritual which takes several hours, with handmade switches, massages, scrubs, rinsing and herbal teas from Sieksāte. Camping "Plaudis.lv" is located in Vidzeme, in a beautiful place by Plaužu lake. Offers tent sites, boats, SUP boards, catamaran rentals, places for recreation and events. About 20 minutes by car from Sigulda, this is a venue that offers you a chance to go fishing in a pond that covers 3 ha and offers every opportunity for relaxation.  You can rent a boat, and during the winter you can go ice fishing.  Next to the pond is a two-story house with a kitchen and an opportunity to spend the night as long as you bring your own mattress.  There are three rooms on the lower and three on the higher floor of the building.  Next to the house is a lean-to, and there is a pergola not far from the pond.  The More War Museum is a bit more than half a kilometre away.  Also nearby is the Safari Park.

Our Story  
The fruit farm was established in 2009 with the aim of creating an orchard of cider apple varieties for the owner’s enjoyment and producing cider. Since 2021, they have been producing, testing, and exploring various cider flavours.

Apples 
The farm boasts the largest organic apple orchard in Latvia, covering nearly 40 hectares, where various apple varieties are grown, including 'Monta', 'Dace', 'Auksis', 'Gita', 'Edīte', and other popular varieties. The orchard also features several apple varieties specifically for cider production. They collaborate with The Horticultural and Experimental Station at Pūre and the Horticulture Institute at Dobele.

Ciders  
The Pienjāņi cider brand Jēpis is the only organically certified cider in Latvia. They also offer fresh apples and apple juice under the Jēpis label.

For Visitors  
The cidery welcomes experience exchange groups by prior arrangement.

Sabile ciders are crafted from natural apple juice using traditional cider-making methods.

Our Story 
The owners of Sabile Cidery are the Circenis family – Baiba and Aldis. The idea of the cidery came from both tending the family orchard near Sabile, where old, majestic apple trees grow, and from learning about cider culture and production traditions in England and France.

Apples  
The apples used for cider-making are grown in the orchards of Kurzeme – both dessert apples and specially selected varieties suitable for cider production.

Ciders 
Sabile's ciders are intense, yet fresh and sparkling, with or without additional flavours. Two brands of cider are produced: Sabiles Cider and Gardener's. There are also mulled ciders and cider cocktails available. Sabile's ciders have won awards at international competitions in Spain, Germany, Norway, and Riga.

For Visitors
The cidery offers tours with stories about cider-making in Sabile, as well as tastings at the Sabile's Cider House.

Lauskis cider is crafted from organically grown apples in a nearly century-old apple orchard.

Our Story
The Lauskis winery and cidery was established in 2019. The ciders and fruit wines are produced in the 300-year-old vaulted cellars of Krape Manor, located in the parish of Lēdmane. The owner, Vents Grīnbaums, named the winery in honour of his great-grandfather Vilis Lausks, a well-known Latvian fruit grower and teacher at the Bulduri Horticultural School.

Apples
The apple harvest is still gathered from apple trees planted almost 100 years ago.

Ciders
The cidery produces semi-dry and semi-sweet apple cider, as well as apple-and-chokeberry cider. Lauskis ciders have won awards at the Nordic International Cider Awards (NICA) and the international cider competition SISGA in Asturias, Spain.

For visitors
Visitors are welcome to learn all about cider-making at the manor, sampling ciders and local snacks. With advance notice, anyone can join in on apple picking and juice pressing in autumn.

Abgunste Manor is an 18th-century Baroque-style building, located a 25-minute drive from Jelgava. Guests are invited to enjoy stories from the manor’s hosts and participate in guided tours. Abava Winery, located in the Abava River Valley in Kurzeme, invites you to sample Latvia’s fruit and berry ciders, wines, and distillates.

Our Story
The inspiration to create the winery came to the owners during their honeymoon trip, while visiting Europe’s oldest wineries. It is now regarded as the largest winery and cidery in Latvia.

Apples
The 4-hectare apple orchard includes trees planted during the Soviet era, representing the industrial apple varieties of that time. 

Ciders 
Abava ciders are made from apples grown in Latvia and stand out with their distinctive northern flavour – a classic Old World heritage, enriched with northern herbs, berries, fruit characteristics, and bold creative blends. Abava ciders have been awarded at international exhibitions and competitions.

For Visitors 
The owners invite you to visit the cidery, learn about the story of cider, and enjoy various ciders during a tasting. Groups can order platters of snacks and catering. During the harvest season, guests are invited to participate in apple picking. The cider estate also offers venues for events, seminars, parties, corporate gatherings, and celebrations.

The farm "Vilki" is a small green oasis among the extensive cereal fields of Zemgale. Here you can go on a pedestrian walk through the arboretum and farmland, discovering about 1000 different plants - both typical of the landscape of Latvia and quite unique.
