Lielborne Manor is a manor complex in the territory of the Nature Park “Daugavas loki”. In Lielborne there is an old park built on terraces, a 2 km long embossed walking trail, a mill pond and a waterfall. Recreational sites have been built in the historical places, which offer a view of the mill ruins, ponds, the river of Borne river and the Daugava.

Active entertainment facilities are offered in the territory of the manor: a playground for children, a rope track for young people and a climbing wall. You can also try the Slack line and outdoor exercise equipment. Guests of the manor are offered bicycles, boat trips, quad bike rides in winter and horseback riding, including re-therapy.

A traditional Vidzeme country farm 15 km from Limbaži town, where guests have the opportunity to spend the night in a romantic barn. The granary built in 1924 has turned into a granary for receiving guests. There is also a sauna in the barn building, a pond and a river on the territory for fishing or a romantic boat ride, and an outdoor shed.

Kalnmuiza (Hohenberg) is a renovated castle of the Livonian Order which was built in the 15th century. In the 18-19th centuries the owners of the castle were the noble kin of Fon Bruken – Fok (von Brucken, genannt Fock), and during their rule the castle was constantly developing, a new owner mansion was built, as well as a variety of outhouses. The coat of arms of this kin has been preserved till nowadays. The castle is situated in an especially preserved territory of the ancient valley of the river Abava, next to a small river Amula. Our Story
The inspiration to create the winery came to the owners during their honeymoon trip, while visiting Europe’s oldest wineries. It is now regarded as the largest winery and cidery in Latvia.

Apples
The 4-hectare apple orchard includes trees planted during the Soviet era, representing the industrial apple varieties of that time. 

Ciders 
Abava ciders are made from apples grown in Latvia and stand out with their distinctive northern flavour – a classic Old World heritage, enriched with northern herbs, berries, fruit characteristics, and bold creative blends. Abava ciders have been awarded at international exhibitions and competitions.

For Visitors 
The owners invite you to visit the cidery, learn about the story of cider, and enjoy various ciders during a tasting. Groups can order platters of snacks and catering. During the harvest season, guests are invited to participate in apple picking. The cider estate also offers venues for events, seminars, parties, corporate gatherings, and celebrations.
