This collection contains bicycles from five different armies and five different eras in the history of Latvia. They include a World War I bicycle from the Russian Empire, a bicycle from the Latvian army, two World War II German bicycles, and a Monark-brand military bicycle from Sweden that was donated to the renewed Latvian army in the 1990s. The exhibition also features items that are related to the use of military bicycles – seals, awards, and information about the bicycle units of Latvia’s Home Guard. This is the only bicycle museum in Latvia, and its exhibits are unique, as well.

Rikavas Manor is the local architectural monument that belonged to Janovski family. Michael Riks bought the building in the second half of the 18th century. The construction works of the manor house lasted from 1870 till 1875. The redbrick building is an example of Neo Gothic style. Since 1926 there was established a school. You should see the beautiful interior and wooden stairs as well as school’s workshop

Tūrisma gide Ineta Jansone piedāvā ekskursijas grupām uz Ķemeriem un iepazīstina ar Ķemeru kūrorta vēsturi. Kopš seniem laikiem Ķemeri slaveni ar to, ka šeit ir daudz sērūdeņu avotu un ārstnieciskās dūņas. Ķemeru kūrortā ārstēja ādas un kaulu slimības, kā arī gremošanas un nervu sistēmas slimības. 1877.g. izbūvēja dzelzceļa līniju Rīga - Tukums, bet 20.gs. sākumā tika ieviesta tiešā dzelzceļa satiksme ar Maskavu. Kūrorts bija ļoti populārs un katru gadu arvien vairāk viesu brauca šurp ārstēties. Īsi pirms I Pasaules kara atklāja elektriskā tramvaja satiksmi starp Ķemeriem un jūru - Jaunķemeriem. Ķemeri atrodas starp purviem un ezeriem, 6 km attālumā no Rīgas jūras līča.
Dodoties ekskursijā, būs iespēja iepazīties ar Ķemeru kūrorta nozīmīgākiem vēstures un arhitektūras objektiem, kuri ir starptautiski slavenā kūrorta ziedu laiku liecinieki: Ķemeru sanatorija, pareizticīgo baznīca, ūdenstornis, restorāns „Jautrais ods”.

Atrodas Līvānu ziemeļdaļā, Baznīcas ielā 17. Dievnams uzbūvēts 1861. g. un paplašināts 1880. gadā. Pēc nopostīšanas 1. pasaules kara laikā to atjaunoja 1918. gadā. No interjera ievērības cienīgas ir ērģeles (uzstādītas 1936. g.), glezna „Svētais Jānis Kristītājs” (mākslinieks Šēnbergs) un 14 Krusta ceļa gleznas, kas ir vācu mākslinieka Fogela gleznu kopijas (19. gs. pirmā puse). Kopš 20. gadsimta sākuma bez izmaiņām ir saglabājies tikai Ostrabramas Dievmātes altāris ēkas labajā pusē. 2007. gadā nokrāsoja dievnama fasādi. Šo darbu laikā, no ēkas sienas izņēma nesprāgušu artilērijas lādiņu, kas bija iestrēdzis 1. pasaules kara laikā.

The mansion of the Gārsene Estate is built in the Neo-Gothic style, and its design was based on a villa in Germany. The building was erected between 1856 and 1860, and from then until 1920, the baronial dynasty of the Budbergs and Beningshausens owned it. The castle was expanded with another wing in 1885. Between 1939 and 1940, the building was rebuilt to become a school, and President Kārlis Ulmanis attended its opening on June 2, 1940, when he was taking his last official trip as the country’s president. There are other buildings and a park on the estate. The mansion today is home to the Gārsene Elementary School, but there is also an exhibition featuring the baronial dynasty, the history of the school, and the town itself. Just wait until you see the pot-bellied stoves! Outside the mansion are the Gārsene nature trails – the cultural and historical trail, the baronial strolling trail, etc. Before setting off, buy a ticket at the mansion. In front of the mansion is a memorial stone to Professor Pēteris Kulitāns (1878-1951), who was an agro-chemist.

This museum is along the road from Jaunpiebalga and Vecpiebalga and was opened in 1969.  It focuses on the life and work of two distinguished Latvians – the composer Emīls Dārziņš (1875-1910) and the poet and writer Jānis Sudrabkalns (1894-1975).  It features items related to the lives of the two men.  Music by Dārziņš can be heard in the museum, tours are offered to individual visitors and groups, and thematic and musical events are held at the museum.
