Reastaurant and hotel “Plavas (“Meadows”) has become a popular destination beloved by gourmets.

Hansahotel is located within located within a 2 minute drive from the town centre. The hotel was opened in May 2003 and all rooms are renovated year 2012. here are 3 single, 12 double/twin rooms, 5 apartments (with small kitchen corner and a private entrance), 7 superior rooms, 1 Deluxe (with bath) and 1 suite (with sauna) with all modern conveniences at your disposal.  In all rooms have shower, TV, and wireless Internet connection.  The hotel can accommodate 55 persons.If we will add an extrabeds, we can accommodate 75 persons. Parking lot is in front of the hotel (possible to park buses).

A log cottage in Valgalciems, 400 m from the sea and 13 km from Roja.  Guests have access to four rooms with four double beds, a hall, a kitchen, a shower with massage, and a country sauna.  There are two ponds on the land, and the forest around the cottage is full of berries and mushrooms.

The pub is located near Madona, in the valley of Smecere forest, in the east of Latvia. Built in the 17th century, the building now also houses a guest house. In the pub offer, a special emphasis is placed on Latvian cuisine.

There are 2 apartments in the same house with common terrace and yard. Two-story apartment (50m2, suitable for 5 persons and 1 baby 0-3 years) with an entrance from the livingroom to the terrace and yard has two bedrooms, kitchenette, bathroom and helpful things for families with kids. Crib bed can be added to the upper bedroom. Apartment with one bedroom, a livingroom which has an entrance to the terrace and yard, kitchenette, bathroom and helpful things for families with kids. On the livingroom there is a loft (size 160×150 cm) for one or two kids to sleep on. Crib bed can be added to the bedroom. This apartment is 35m2, suitable for 2 adults, 2 children aged 5-12 and 1 baby 0-3 years.

There is outdoor furniture (dining table with chairs and sun lounger chairs), BBQ and sandbox in the yard.

This tour specifically apeal to those interested into woodcrafting. During the tour you visit and could try your hand into three skills - dugout items, barrels and sauna accessories. After leaving Riga, first few days you stay at Ligatne. There is the Woodcrafting museum and dugout workshops where you can choose what item to make. It is also nice place with historic village formed around Paper Mill. At Ligatne you can visit local wine makers which shop is located into a sand cave typical for the region. Soviet Secret Bunker is also nearby. Next on the tour is sightseeing at the small town Cesis with mighty medieval castle and then a visit to barrel master who will demonstrate his skill. There is also accommodation at the place. Sauna is an integral part of the Latvian life style and there are certain knowledge require how to build it and what accessories to use during bathing. You learn about these skills as well as could try out a proper Latvian sauna ritual. On the way to Riga you visit Cesvaine Castle as well as birch juice producer where owner tells about the way of extracting juice from the birch. You could taste some of his product - juice and wine.
