Die dritlängste (in seiner Zeit auch eine der modernsten Brücken) Backsteinbrücke Europas (164 m), gebaut 1873 – 1874.

The Rūķīšu tēja farm is one of the leading producers of medicinal plants in Latvia.  The company ensures the quality by growing and harvesting plants that are dried, stored and packaged very carefully.  The farm uses no aromatises, no preservatives, dyes or thickeners.  Group tours will enjoy tasty teas and recommendations on those that should be purchased.  Products are sold at very attractive prices.  The farm offers a wide range of medicinal plants from which teas can be produced.  Pay a visit when the plants are blooming and each little area has a unique and typical colour.

The restaurant is at the Chocolate Museum in Pūre. The terrace offers a lovely view of the ancient Abava River valley. The men changes on the basis of the seasons and demand.

Riežupes dabas parks veidots g.k. Riežupes izteksmīgās ielejas, tai raksturīgo dabas vērtību – nogāžu un gravu mežu, dažādu ģeoloģisku dabas pieminekļu - smilšakmens atsegumu, alu, ūdenkritumu, upes straujteču posmu, dažādu sugu, mežu masīvu un ainavas aizsardzībai. Parka atrodas viens no Kurzemes populārākajiem tūrisma objektiem – Riežupes alas - garākais mākslīgo alu labirints Latvijā, kura eju kopgarums ir 460 m. Sākotnēji dabas veidotās alas 19. gs. vidū mākslīgi paplašināja baltās smilts ieguves nolūkos, kuras izmantoja stikla ražošanai. Parkā izveidots velotūrisma maršruts.

This nature park is one of the richest and most unusual nature parks in Latvia in terms of its natural resources, the surrounding environment, the landscapes, the biological diversity of the area, and the cultural monuments which are found there. The main treasure there is the little-changed Daugava River valley, where there are eight major curves in the river at a length of four to eight kilometres. There are also the gullies of river tributaries. Outstanding views can be found on the steep shores of the Daugava River valley, particularly the Slutiški and Ververi cliffs and the Elerne gravel hill. There are some 20 archaeological monuments on the shores of the valley -- ancient castle hills at Najene, Markova, Vecračina, etc., countless churches -- the Juzefova, Sprukti, Borovka, Elerne, Sīķele, Kaplava and other churches, the Rozališki, Lielborne and other baronia estates, and the unique village of Slutiški, which is home to the Old Believers. There are interesting nature trails and bicycling trails in the area. Horseback riding is available, and there is a viewing tower along with other elements for tourists. Boating down the Daugava River is an interesting way to spend time.

The tour from Rīga to Tallinn combines natural and cultural heritage and includes lovely landscapes and 15 nature trails which cross marshlands, meadows and forests along the shores of the Baltic Sea, including several protected nature reserves. Many trails are equipped with viewing towers for birdwatching. Randu meadows near Ainaži contains one third of Latvia’s entire plant species. A boardwalk leads through reeds to a viewing platform with views over the meadow and the sea. Saaremaa island is interesting with very different natural attractions to the mainland - dolomite cliffs, juniper heaths, a meteorite lake and rocky sea shore. The tour passes rural farms and traditional villages typical of the coastal areas. Hiiumaa island is a laid back place and retains a very Estonian atmosphere with an important bird reserve at Käina Bay, unusual Sääre Tirp as well as several small islets off its south-eastern coast. Back on the mainland, Paldiski peninsula gives a glimpse of the recent history with its former Soviet military base

Pirmā Liepājas gājēju iela. 140 m garā iela par gājējiem piemērotu tika pārveidota mūzikas festivāla “Mēs Liepājai” (1988. g.) laikā savāktajiem līdzekļiem. Daudzo veikalu un kafejnīcu dēļ iela ir dzīva, tāpēc vietējo iedzīvotāju un viesu iecienīta.

Karņicka kalns pēc savas izcelsmes nav kalns, bet gan Daugavas ielejas nogāzes daļa ar labu skatu uz Krāslavas mazstāvu koka apbūvi. Ar šo vietu saistīts traģisks nostāsts par poļu virsnieka Josifa Karņicka un grāfa Plātera meitas mīlestību, kurai nebija lemts piepildīties tā laika „paražu” dēļ. Tā rezultātā abi nelaimīgie nolemj izdarīt pašnāvību. Virsnieks nošaujas, bet Emīliju pēdējā brīdī izglābj kalpone, neļaujot tai izlēkt pa pils logu. J. Karņicka pašnāvības vietā ir uzstādīts piemineklis. Nedaudz tālāk – rietumu virzienā guļ t.s. Austriņa akmens, pie kura 1909. gadā iedvesmojies un radījis latviešu rakstnieks Antons Austriņš.
