Das Gästehaus „Stikāni“ befindet sich 2 km von  Nagli entfernt am Rand der Oreniši-Fischteiche. Im Gästehaus gibt es 4 bestens ausgestattete Doppelzimmer und ein Wohnzimmer mit Ausgang zur Terrasse. Auf dem zum Haus gehörenden Territorium ist ein Lehrpfad eingerichtet, wo man mit Führung mit den für Lettland typischen Bäumen und Sträuchern bekannt gemacht wird, ebenso mit den bekannten und mit weniger bekannten Heilpflanzen. Im Sommer auch mit den brütenden Vögeln im Frühling oder Herbst mit den hier reichlich anzutreffenden migrierenden Vögeln.

Befindet sich am höchsten mit Bäumen bewachsenen Ufer des Flusses Marki hinter der Grenzkontrollstelle von Piedruja. Zur Kirche führt eine Straße aus Pflastersteinen, die wahrscheinlich die einheimischen Bauer am Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts gelegt haben. Es war eine Pflicht, ein Stein mitzunehmen, wenn man zum Gottesdienst geht. Dieser Stein wurde später für den Straßenbelag verwendet. Diese Kirche mit sechs Kuppeln ist eine der schönsten im heutigen Bezirk Krāslava. Die Kirche ist von 1883 bis 1885 an der Stelle der alten Holzkirche gemäß den architektonischen Formen der altrussischen Stadt Wladimir und bisantischen architektonischen Formen (17. Jahrhundert) gebaut worden. Es gibt Informationen, dass die Größe der Gemeinde ehemals sogar eine Tausend Gemeindemitglieder erreichte.

The “Lamb Club” is a farm in Mazsalaca, and it is special because the sheep live in a real club!  The owners offer the atmosphere of a farm at which the sheep play major roles.  Enjoy mutton and sheep milk foods and beverages, feel how comfortable it is to read your favourite while sitting on a fluffy sheepskin, and, in order not to get cold by the campfire in the evening, you can purchase warm woollen socks and woven woollen cloaks.

The owners hope that people from Latvia and all around the world will spend more time at the farm, because accommodations involve a new glamping tent that is as close as possible to nature and the healthy rural environment.  Don’t lose a lick of the comfort that you are used to in your everyday life!

The owners, Ilze and Valters, will be happy to give you a tour during which they talk about herding sheep.  If you contact them in advance, they will prepare a tasty mutton meal for you.  The tour can also be supplemented with various activities such as games, quizzes and creative workshops at which sheep wool is utilised.

Kirblas baznīcas pirmsākumi ir meklējami 16. gs. un par tās celtniecību saglabājušies dažādi interesanti nostāsti. Tas ir viens no mazākajiem Igaunijas dievnamiem (29 x 11 m).
