После ознакомления с созвездиями наблюдение за звездами можно продолжить в обсерватории при помощи мощнейшего публично доступного телескопа. |

“Kārkļu osta” is a family campsite on the banks of the Daugava River 4.5 km from the Koknese castle ruins. There are 10 ha of land for private events, sports events, consolidation events, camping and master classes. There is unhurried relaxation for family members or friends. A large (6x12m) tent is available for events on the banks of the river. It can accommodate between 40 and 60 people. There are also two leisure huts with four beds in each of them. There is space for picnics, tents and trailers, with a lean-to with a table, a grill and a place for a campfire available, as well. There is electricity, fresh water, lavatories and a shower. Should you wish to go fishing or rowing, we have three Amber 365 bots that you can rent with a Honda 2.5hp gas engine. SUP boards are available, and the campsite has a football pitch, a volleyball area and a novus table. |

This biological farm (Bio 05-049-2008) grows berries such as strawberries and summer and autumn raspberries, as well as vegetables and grains. Visitors can pick and eat berries and look at the garden. The owners also breed cattle and have a store at which biological vegetables and fruits from the farm itself and from others can be bought. During the hay season during the summer visitors can spend the night in bales of hay.

The leisure house “Olgas Muiža” is found in a lovely place in the Valmiera Administrative District. Guests are offered a house with all that’s necessary to enjoy countryside leisure peacefully and unhurriedly whether it is winter or summer. Guests can enjoy the rituals of a sauna, stroll through orchards, and use a gazebo for a picnic with a view of the pond. People who enjoy active leisure can go fishing in the ponds of the estate or go horseback riding. The guesthouse is good for private relaxation, as well as for corporate events and seminars. |

This is the first farm in Latvia which began to grow mushrooms. Informative tours are available, advice is given, and guests are treated with the “emperor mushroom” sauce or soup. You can also order other foods which involve shitake mushrooms or purchase them in dry or powdered form. The owner also produces an ancient herbal beverage called “Ponšo,” and it is only available at Garīkas. |

A collection of peonies in the garden in Ķesterciems which is just 300 metres from the sea. The collection has been put together over the course of many years, with some that were first grafted in the 18th century and others that are completely new varieties. Each year the range is supplemented, with a bit more than 800 different kinds right now. Peony blossoms are at their peak attractiveness around mid-June. |

Die Wirtschaft züchtet lettische, weißrussische und litauische Pferdearten. Es werden Ausflüge mit Pferden und die Ausbildung von Anfängern angeboten. The countryside house offers a comfortable and cozy environment for relaxation close to nature. The house features a spacious bedroom with a large king-size bed and a pull-out chair, providing a comfortable stay for guests. There is both a shower and a bathtub available, as well as a large kitchen equipped with everything necessary for cooking. The bedroom has a fireplace that creates a particularly cozy atmosphere on cooler evenings. The outdoor area includes several terraces where guests can grill or set up a table for a meal in the fresh air. Approximately 100 meters away is a two-story sauna house. The ground floor includes a sauna, a small kitchenette with a sink, and a washing area with a shower and toilet. The second floor offers sleeping accommodations for six people and a TV for relaxation. Near the sauna house, there is a pond where guests can swim. |

Das Erholungsheim „Baltās anemones“ befindet sich an einer landschaftlich sehr reizvollen Stelle, am rechten Ufer der Lielupe in der Nähe von Mežotne. Vom Staudamm im Fluss neben dem Erholungsheim hat man eine hervorragende Sicht auf den Aufschluss von Ziedoni am linken Flussufer und auf die Dolomitsteine im Park von Mežotne auf der rechten Flussseite. In den Hängen zur Lielupe sind Beete angelegt, wo Gemüse angebaut wird: Kürbisse, Gurken, Salat, Tomaten, Rote Beete, Kartoffeln und auch Gewürzpflanzen. Zudem wurde ein Garten mit Obstbäumen und Beerensträuchern angelegt. Neben einem breiten Angebot im Hofladen werden Führungen durch die Felder des Hofes angeboten. |

Die Mosterei befindet sich in einem alten Steingebäude neben den Ruinen der Burg des Livländischen Ordens. In der Nähe der Mosterei sind experimentelle Apfelplantagen angelegt, aber die Äpfel – hauptsächlich alte sowjetische Sorten - kauft die Cidre-Mosterei Mūrbūdu von örtlichen Betrieben. |
