DabaLaba is in one of the places in Latvia that has the very lowest population density per square kilometre.  There are huge forests around our venue with lots of animals, clean rivers and lovely forest lakes.

DabaLaba launched operations in 2010 by renting boats.  The next season we set up an archery range and started to offer guided tours of the surrounding environment – hikes, safari trips down the forest roads of the “Ance Swamps and Forests” restricted area, interesting, merry and lovely moments outdoors, hunting with your camera, as well as special trips for schoolchildren.

Boats and SUP boards can be rented in Irbe, Rinda, Stende, Engure and Lonaste (or elsewhere on the basis of a separate agreement).

Since August 2018, DabaLaba has offered the restaurant #Mežā during the summer months.  It is in the centre of the forest and offers pure, tasty and healthy dishes made of local ingredients and no preservatives or additives.  The menu has dishes for vegetarians and vegans, as well as dishes with no gluten and no lactose.

We also have a country sauna where two people can spend the night after taking their sauna.

Гостевой дом «Šubrakkrasti» находится в Мадонском районе, волость Берзауне, в 8 км от озера Кала, в тихом месте на лоне природы. Гости имеют доступ к 7 комнатам разного размера и комфорта, сауне, холлу, бальному залу и широкому спектру возможностей для отдыха. В общем лаундже есть камин и телевизор. Гости могут готовить блюда на полностью оборудованной общей кухне. Летом также доступны места для палаток, домов на колесах и кемпинга. «Шубраккрасты» - это тоже нестандартная ферма, которая предлагает экскурсии - как для гостей гостевого дома, так и для групп туристов и студентов. Во время экскурсии вы познакомитесь с историей дома (раньше здесь был молочный завод), владельцем дома Раймондом Айзстраутсом - заводской производственной мастерской, его автоспортом (четырехкратный чемпион СССР по автоспорту) и работами на ЧПУ и оборудование для лазерной гравировки. Прогуляйтесь по ухоженной сельской местности, включающей гору с серпантином, ландшафтные сады, пруды и т. Д. Есть также творческие мастерские - изготовление мыла или изготовление подарочных коробок.

The “Priedītes” Mini Zoo farm is in the Limbaži Administrative District and offers visitors a chance to get close to farm animals.  Learn all about each kind of animal and its habits.  Visit our rabbit garden where you will see some 40 hopping around, though there are some 100 in all.  There are dwarf goats, sheep, a cow, some chickens and special tinker horses from Ireland.  Horseback riding is available.

Усадьба Бланкенфельде расположена в Земгале - в часе езды от Риги. Усадьба имеет статус национального культурного памятника. Название усадьбы впервые было упомянуто во времена Курляндии и Семигалии - когда в период с 1689 - 1701 г.г. владельцем являлся Эрнест Фон Медемс. В 1891 году владельцами становится род Ханов. В усадьбе насчитывалось 16 зданий. Хозяйский дом – построенное в 18-ом веке одноэтажное здание с двускатной крышей. В 19-ом веке его перестраивают в стиле классицизма. В 1925 году в здании обустраивают приют для психически больных людей, а после Второй мировой войны - дом инвалидов. В настоящее время усадьба восстановлена и находится в частной собственности. Рядом с усадьбой находится родовое захоронение семьи Ханов, которое восстановлено и очищено. Восстановлен красивый приусадебный парк Бланкенфельде, в котором оборудована современная детская площадка, а в реконструированных конюшнях - на первом этаже основан музей колоколов, а на втором - современные гостиничные номера, где можно остаться, наслаждаясь атмосферой усадьбы, спокойным отдыхом, и на следующее утро - вкусным завтраком. Доступны помещения также в восточном крыле особняка, где можно отдохнуть в отдельных номерах - апартаментах. Усадьба предлагает помещения для проведения мероприятий и торжеств до 60 человек. В парке усадьбы расположены места для палаток и пикника. Можно осмотреть коллекцию колоколов.

“Pincikājas” offers a sauna and a place for leisure in a lovely place on the banks of Lake Sudals.  A certified masseur and sauna master is on hand to organise sauna-related rituals.  You will relax in the jacuzzi that is outside the sauna, or go swimming in the lake.  Enjoy a period of leisure or take part in sports, camping or parties for your team at work.

There are accommodations for up to 11 people on the mansard floor of the main building.  Boats and SUP boards are available to rent.  There is space for tenting and room for parties with up to 30 participants.  There is a place for swimming, as well as a playground for children.

Zīļu peonijas is a farm where you can get a true sense of how many different types of peonies there are in the world.  The garden has more than 800 different kinds, and they will surprise you with their diversity of form and colour.  Each visitor will find one which best corresponds to his or her tastes.  Flowers are sold to be taken home.  The garden is in the Slampe Parish of the Tukums Administrative District.

Kaltene is home to a memorial house that has been set up in honour of Andris Kārkliņš, who was known as the first internationally recognised flamenco guitarist of Latvian origin.  Known as Andres El Leton, he was a composer, poet, writer and photographer.  Visitors will learn all about the artist’s life and work via audio and video recordings.

Up on the second floor of the building is a small creative workshop (SIA “Rakstu Raksti,” where people produce applied arts items such as folk costumes, linen products, accessories, souvenirs, etc.  They sew apparel and home textiles from linen and other natural materials.  The workshop has floristics specialists, and it accepts orders on sewn, knit and crocheted products.  Master classes are also available.  Visitors will enjoy local produced foodstuffs from the Roja Administrative District (fish, wine, cheese, conserves, jams, teas, etc.).  Handicrafts and souvenirs are available for purchase.

In 2017, a design hotel was opened in Cesis, on the banks of the Gauja River. At the end of 19th century and at the beginning of 20th century Russian aristocrats built villas for summer recreation here. At present, six hectares of the territory are home to three villas (Villa Santa, Villa Ieva and Villa Carola) with a restaurant, a hall of TILTA HOUSE, an ancient apple garden and a restored wooden gazebo. The hotel has 30 rooms, with a light interior, with a touch of Scandinavian minimalism and Latvian bourgeoisie, preserving the aura of the summer cottage.
