Cheese producer tourism offer for visitors and tour operators
The “Piena Aitas Bio” dairy sheep farm in Bauska Municipality welcomes guests all year round by prior arrangement. Both individual visitors and organised groups can take a tour, which is led in Latvian by the owners themselves. During the visit, which lasts about an hour, guests look around the farm and taste sheep's and cow's milk cheeses. It is also possible to try sheep's milk yoghurt, ice cream and “Aitiņa” sweets. The tastings take place in a specially set-up tasting area. The farm has received the “Latvijas ekoprodukts 2026” (Latvian Eco Product 2026) award in the “Best Home Producer” category. The products can be purchased on site and in the online shop.
