Bäckerei von N. Bomis LIELEZERS

The bus ride to Limbaži was long and the visit to Lielezer Maiznica was worth the trip. Head baker Valters Kanopa, who gave us the presentation at Maiznieku Biedrības, gave us a tour of the bakery and let us sample some new products. Unfortunately, we came between shifts, so we were unable to see the bread production. Still, the visit gave us a great deal of additional information on Latvian rye bread and baking.
