Seit Herbst 2010 gibt es am Fluss Koiva (Grenzfluss zwischen Estland und Lettland) eine 60 km lange Fahrradroute, die Kulturerbeobjekte beider Staaten präsentiert. Die Route beginnt im Parkplatz am Berg Tellingumäe  parklast, an den beiden Enden und am Grenzübergang sind Rastplätze und Karten. Wegweiser auf den Kreuzungen zur Navigation vorhanden, ausserdem sind die Sehenswürdigkeiten etwas abseits leicht zu finden. Beschreibungen bei den Objekten sind auf Estnisch, Lettisch und Englisch.  Im Startpunkt beginnt auch eine andere 18 km  lange Route.

Das Wirtshaus befindet sich am Rande der Straße Cesis – Valmiera. Es ist ein Blockhaus im lettischen Stil. Gemüse und Früchte werden von den lokalen Bauern gekauft.

Redāns ir 19. gadsimta beigās celtā Liepājas Jūras cietokšņa daļa, kur notikušas Latvijai nozīmīgas cīņas. Lai gan uzbūvētie nocietinājumi ap Karostu tika atzīti par stratēģisku kļūdu un vairums no tiem saspridzināti, Redāns palicis teju neskarts. Tā ir arī vienīgā nocietinājuma daļa, kur notikusi reāla karadarbība.Par liecina ložu šautie caurumi sienās.

1919. gada 14. novembrī šeit notika brīvības cīņas par neatkarīgu Latviju, aizstāvot Liepāju pret Bermonta karaspēku. 14. novembra rītā, pārejot aizsalušo Tosmares ezeru, bermontiešu kājnieki ieņēma Redānu. Taču dažu stundu laikā liepājnieki veica niknu pretuzbrukumu, un vāciešiem nācās atkāpties.

Jūnijā, jūlijā un augustā katru dienu plkst. 11.00–17.00 pie Redāna gaidīs zinošs gids, kas būs gatavs pastāstīt vairāk par Liepājas cietoksni un vēsturiskajiem notikumiem Karostā. Cena – 2 EUR no personas.

Der große Peststein – mit der eingemeißelten Aufschrift, die nur schwer zu lesen ist, wollte man den nächsten Generationen über den damaligen örtlichen Pfarrer (der während der Pest gestorben ist) und über die Bildung eines Pastorats in Sīkrags mitteilen. Das Pastorat wurde aber kurz danach nach Mazirbe verlegt. Der Peststein ist auch ein Denkmal für sechs Pfarrer der örtlichen Gemeinden. Alle drei Steine (Nr.7) teilen über die große Pest von 1710 mit. Die Aufschriften auf den Steinen wurden von Mazirbes Pfarrer Petersons von 1711 bis 1734 eingemeißelt.

This study tour is designed to show Latvia's rye traditions as their central focus. This tour has been developed in cooperation with the Latvian Bakers’ Association.

Rye is both the basis of the Latvian diet and  a powerful symbol of Latvia's culture and culinary traditions. Itinerary emphasize traditional rye bread-baking and eating, as well as insights into the history of the rye grain from Latvia's earliest archaeological record to the present day. Itinerary include visits to working farms, grain mills and culturally and historically important locations.

This study tour is designed for groups and may be adapted to the needs, interests and timeframe of each client. Tour cost includes meetings with experts, site visits and admissions, accommodations, specified meals, sightseeing, transportation within Latvia and guides-interpreters.

This area is full of coastline meadows, lagoons, muddy little lakes and sandy shallows, all full of reeds. This area of the eastern shore of the Bay of Rīga is found between Ainaži and Kuiviži. The Randa meadows are an enormously important location for water birds and rare plants – some 500 in all. A new bird-watching tower and a nature trail have been established for those who wish to study the meadows.

This is an open territory which is 3.5 km long and 2 km wide.  It is located on the left bank of the Lielupe River between the village of Pavasari and the Odiņi homestead.  The polder was established during the Soviet era to obtain farmland, and back then it was used very intensively.  Today, it is slowly becoming overgrown, and despite this, this is one of the most important locations in Europe for corn-crakes.  A gravel road crosses the polder from the North to the South, and this is an excellent place to hear the songs of the corn-crake.
