DabaLaba is in one of the places in Latvia that has the very lowest population density per square kilometre.  There are huge forests around our venue with lots of animals, clean rivers and lovely forest lakes.

DabaLaba launched operations in 2010 by renting boats.  The next season we set up an archery range and started to offer guided tours of the surrounding environment – hikes, safari trips down the forest roads of the “Ance Swamps and Forests” restricted area, interesting, merry and lovely moments outdoors, hunting with your camera, as well as special trips for schoolchildren.

Boats and SUP boards can be rented in Irbe, Rinda, Stende, Engure and Lonaste (or elsewhere on the basis of a separate agreement).

Since August 2018, DabaLaba has offered the restaurant #Mežā during the summer months.  It is in the centre of the forest and offers pure, tasty and healthy dishes made of local ingredients and no preservatives or additives.  The menu has dishes for vegetarians and vegans, as well as dishes with no gluten and no lactose.

We also have a country sauna where two people can spend the night after taking their sauna.

Особое блюдо: Мауриньский открытый пирог и более 80 видов всевозможного варенья.

Мини-зоопарк «Скайсткрасты» предлагает возможность познакомиться с разными животными. Здесь живет альпаки, ламы, пони, ослы, бараны, козы, собаки, кролики, павлины, лошади, еноты, суслики, нутрии, зайцы и различные виды уток, гуси, куры, фазаны, голуби. Есть возможность покормить животных, а также взять напрокат лошадь и покататься на лошадях. Есть пруд для купания, а также отдельная сауна у большого пруда. Возможность устроить пикник на Малой Югла.

Для проживания предлагаются два гостевых дома. В большинстве из них есть кровати на 18 человек, а также банкетный зал и русская баня. Во втором гостевом доме могут разместиться 10 человек, также имеется финская сауна.

This is a farmers’ market with direct links between farms, homesteads and consumers.  Use your five senses at the Imanta Market, and you will realise that you are in a place where the flavours of Latvia’s regions intermingle.

The flats of Saules Kvartāls (Block of Sun) are found in the city centre and at a 15-minute walk from the Ventspils Olympics Centre and the skateboard park, 10 minutes from the Reņķa garden, 15 minutes from a children’s playground and other tourist destinations.  The nearest store is just 100 metres away.

There are three types of rooms at Saules Kvartāls – a studio flat for a family, a small room for two, and a two-room studio type flat.  All of the apartments have a television set and WIFI, as well as a small kitchen where you can boil water in a kettle.  There is also a stove along with kitchen equipment and utensils.

All guests have a common use grill with the necessary equipment to use free of charge.  There are also garden furnishings, a trampoline for the kids, and a sauna.

A lovely and quiet family farm 12 km from Valmiera offers Latvian sauna rituals, various spa procedures, and massages (classical, medicinal, honey-based, etc.).  Listen to relaxing music during the procedures, after which you will be offered ecologically pure herbal teas from herbs which have been collected near the farm.  There is a heated outdoor jacuzzi along with a swing-set, a playground for children, as well as a series of creative workshops in accordance with the season of the year.

Латышский сельский двор, во дворе и строениях которого удачно объединено историческое с современным. Готовят латышские сельские блюда и организуют свадьбы в духе старинных традиций. Сотрудничают с местными крестьянами и надомниками.

Латышская кухня: Овощной суп-пюре с зеленью и гренками, запеченные в печи судак с сырной шапочкой и сезонными овощами, творожный крем с ягодным соусом.

The Jaunpils Crafts House opened on May 10, 2015, and it is home to a group of weavers from Jaunpils that was established in 1970, as well as the “Dzīpars” organisation.  The group is led by a master weaver, Velga Pavlovska, who is happy to share her knowledge with the 18 women who are part of the group.  She organises the work of women who do handicrafts, and she also conducts tours and creative workshops.  Visitors can learn about the work of weavers and other master handicraft specialists, take part in educational master classes, go on tours and purchase various souvenirs.

Здесь можно ощутить настоящую сельскую среду в четырех хуторах – «Клаюми», «Ганини», «Кемери» и «Красти», пейзажи природного парка «Даугавас локи» и Латвийско – Белорусского приграничного района со спины лошади. Хозяйка из местных продуктов (овощи, свинина, говядина) готовит латгальские блюда и напитки.

Латышская кухня: Грибной шницель, картофельные клецки с сушеными грибами или мясом, со сметанным соусом и луком, жареные лисички с молодым картофелем, тушеные овощи с грибами, клубника с мороженым, шмаковка.

Особое блюдо: «Небесная манна от «Клаюми».

В «Пиекуни» предлагают латышские банные ритуалы, где процесс парки объединен с народными песнями и травяными чаями. Позже можно получить удовольствие от отдыха на кроватях, сделанных в стиле древних латышей (из бревен). Вместе с хозяином можно отправиться в поход и узнать, как наши предки сживались с природой - с растениями, камнями, энергиями и др.
