The pond covers 2.3 ha, and its average depth is 4m. Since 2013, it has been home to carps, tench, catfish, crucian, pike, roach, perch and other types of fish. There are also two kinds of crabs in the pond. The territory offers not just the joy of fishing, but also relaxation for the whole family. Room for tents and picnics, a special swimming area, lavatory facilities and various attractions. You can rent fishing poles, crabbing baskets and boats, and you can buy everything that you will need for a lovely picnic. |

The name of the house is ‘Ārpus Laika’ and it means ‘Beyond Time’. The family has created a landscape park and they practice green living in a dome house designed by themselves. The family also manufactures garden furniture and hammocks. The buildings are surrounded by a beautiful park and a pond full of frogs and fishes. The surrounding landscape of the park with a pergola, a bridge, a forest and fields creates a very tranquil countryside atmosphere that can be experienced just a short drive away from the capital city. The hostess makes wines and offers tasting of different sorts. She also demonstrates cooking of traditional Latvian desserts. The place is also popular for weddings and post-wedding photo sessions. |

Die alten Traditionen der Valmiermuižas Gastfreundschaft fortführend, laden die neuen Besitzer der Brauerei ein das Landgut mit Umgebung und Brauerei kennenzulernen! Hier wird den Besuchern erklärt und gezeigt, wie die reiche Geschichte von Valmiermuiža die Bierbrauerei beeinflusst hat, und wie man von natürlichen Rohstoffen langsam „lebendiges” Bier braut. Alle können erfahren wie man am besten Bier genießt um dessen richtigen Geschmack zu spüren, und was man am besten dazu isst. Eine Besichtigung ist jeden Tag möglich, mit vorheriger Anmeldung. Der Besuch und das Kosten dauert ungefähr 1,5 h. Das Wirtshaus "Valmiermuižas alus virtuve" popularisiert die Bierkultur in Lettland. Für die Vorbereitung von Mahlzeiten wird hier Bier als ein passender Bestandteil von Mahlzeiten verwendet. In einer für heutzutage charakteristischen lettischen Art werden von den lokalen Produkten Speisen und Bier-Vorspeisen vorbereitet. Im Sommer ist hier ein Biergarten geöffnet. Hier wird das Traditionelle mit dem Gegenwärtigen verbunden. Lettische Küche: Geräuchertes Schweinefleisch, Filet eines Zanders aus dem See Burtnieks, Püree aus grünen Erbsen. Als Beilagen: Preiselbeeren, Quitten, Kürbisse, Birkensäfte und Steinpilzsoße. Das besondere Gericht: Im unfiltrierten Bier des Winters gehaltene Schweinefleischscheibe. |

The “Rozītes” rose garden is found in the Sēme Parish in Kurzeme, and it covers a bit less than 3 hectares. There are more than 3,000 rose plants in the garden with 300 different varieties. There are also perennials and rare trees in the garden. Visitors will enjoy three lovely ponds which have fish in them, but they are meant more for beauty and relaxation. You can watch the fish from the terrace, walk across a flower island, and go to our amphitheatre to listen to relaxing music. On a hot summer day, visit the “water rock” to hear the bubbling sound of the surrounding water. Daila and Bruno Trubiņš will be happy to give you a tour of the garden and tell you all about the plants and how to care for them. You can purchase rose and perennial plants. Each June we organise a Rose Festival with an extensive programme for adults and children alike. Visitors are welcome to taste rose jam and drinks made of rose petals. We can host seminars, concerts, weddings and photo sessions. The garden is open from May until the end of September, and we particularly welcome visitors when the flowers are in full bloom. "Aldara alus darbnīca" ir modernākais alus muzejs Baltijas valstīs un pirmais Latvijā. Alus muzejs atrodas vēsturiskajā Aldara kvartālā – Sarkandaugavā. Pēc vērienīgas rekonstrukcijas, vēsturiskās ēkas atjaunošanas un alus ekspozīcijas izveides, muzejs savas durvis vēra 2015. gada maijā. Muzejs izvietots trijos stāvos 800 kvadrātmetru platībā. Muzeja interjerā ir akcentētas vēsturiskās liecības, tā lepnums ir autentiskā alus vārītavas zāle, kas neskarta saglabāta kopš 1938. gada. Tās senie alus vārīšanas vara katli ir retums, kas saglabājušies līdz pat mūsdienām. Izmantojot jaunākās tehnoloģijas, senajos vārīšanas katlos interaktīvā veidā ir iespējams izpētīt četru galveno alus sastāvdaļu – ūdens, apiņu, iesala un rauga – burvību. Alus muzejs "Aldara alus darbnīca" labi papildina ēkas otrajā spārnā izvietoto alus darītavu, kas ikdienā brūvē pašas izsmalcinātākās Aldara alus šķirnes. Hier werden Abendversammlungen und Veranstaltungen organisiert, auf denen die Teilnehmer singen, spielen, tanzen und nützliche Dinge weben, sowie Bildungsprogramme Abendversammlung und Ehrenmahlzeit von Rucava mit niederkurländischen Gerichten angeboten.
