Cidery tourism offer for visitors and tour operators
The Mūrbūdu cidery in Valka Municipality is known for its creative and experimental approach to cider making. Tours of the cidery are not offered, but throughout the year it is possible to arrange a cider-making masterclass with the cider master or to hold a corporate event. Alongside classic ciders, the cidery produces seasonal ciders with ginger, chokeberries, hops and raspberries, as well as barrel-aged and vintage ciders. The range is complemented by sparkling rhubarb wine, hot winter cider and non-alcoholic ciders. Mūrbūdu ciders have won awards at international competitions in the Baltic states, Norway, Great Britain and Australia. At the “Australian Cider Awards 2025”, the cider “Gin Botanical” was named best in its class. The products and gift sets can be ordered from the cidery's online shop.
