Cidery tourism offer for visitors and tour operators
The Līgatne Winery in Cēsis Municipality welcomes guests throughout the year, with the visit arranged in advance. The winery can be visited either individually or on a tour led by the owners in Latvian or English. Groups are also welcomed.
The visit, which lasts about an hour, takes place by candlelight in a unique sandstone cave. During it, guests get to know the stories of Līgatne and its caves, learn about the winery and its achievements, and taste the drinks together with cheese made on a local farm. Drivers are offered non-alcoholic drinks, while children are offered a specially prepared selection of non-alcoholic drinks.
The winery produces about 20 kinds of fruit and berry wines, the spirit “Pārcēlājs”, liqueurs and infusions, as well as jams and teas. Wooden products from the Līgatne Spoon Workshop and gift sets are also available in the shop. The winery’s products can also be purchased in the online shop.
