Yesterday we visited the open-air museum and randomly went inside of a house in the fishing village without expecting to see anybody there but the place was heated and here was Georg Kuklis who gave us a warmest welcome and offered us a cup of coffee during which we tried to communicate and share information about our common interests in firefighters volunteering. Thank you, Georg, for the wonderful hospitality and visit. |

Heute waren wir den ganzen Tag im Ethnographischen Freilichtmuseum Lettlands. Das war aber leider zu kurz! Lange interessante Gespräche mit einigen der "Bewohner" von Häusern, ließen die Zeit wie im Fluge vergehen. Vielen Dank, Inga Busha und Georg Kuklis für die vielen Informationen und Einsichten über Lettlands Kultur und Geschichte, die ihr uns vermittelt habt. Wir kommen wieder! |

Last week we visited your wonderful museum. Several rooms were open. We saw an exhibition of old chests. The tour was led by our guide Georg Kuklis. We were amazed by his deep knowledge and high style of presentation. We also noted the noble appearance and bearing of our guide. Many thanks to Georg and the museum for an excellent historical tour. |
