LIELBORNES MUIZA

Lielborne Manor is a manor complex in the territory of the Nature Park “Daugavas loki”. In Lielborne there is an old park built on terraces, a 2 km long embossed walking trail, a mill pond and a waterfall. Recreational sites have been built in the historical places, which offer a view of the mill ruins, ponds, the river of Borne river and the Daugava.

Active entertainment facilities are offered in the territory of the manor: a playground for children, a rope track for young people and a climbing wall. You can also try the Slack line and outdoor exercise equipment. Guests of the manor are offered bicycles, boat trips, quad bike rides in winter and horseback riding, including re-therapy.

In the manor complex it is possible to stay overnight in the manor house or camping with tent places.

The Birini Castle

The Bīriņi estate complex and the park was built in the 18th-19th century. The castle itself was built in 1860, and exemplifies a successful mixture of styles - the architecture is dominated by the Neo-gothic and semicircle style, while the interior features Neo-renaissance. Today the castle is a prestigeous venue for banquets and seminars. Apart the function rooms, there is a hotel and a restaurant and taverna which invite travelers to have a rest from the city' s  hustle and enjoy the romantic surroundings of the castle.

Abgunste Manor is an 18th-century Baroque-style building, located a 25-minute drive from Jelgava. Guests are invited to enjoy stories from the manor’s hosts and participate in guided tours. Visitors can participate in various creative workshops, indulge in authentic "edible celebrations," and stay overnight in uniquely designed guest rooms. The manor is a popular venue for full-service celebrations, offering spacious event halls, a picturesque manor park, catering, decorating, and event planning services. The manor’s owners, Asnāte and Jānis Avotnieki purchased the property in 2016 and, together with the "Creative Haven" association, are dedicated to its restoration and development. DEPKINA RAMAVAS MUIZA

Located in Rāmava in the Ķekava Parish, the estate dates back to the 15th century.  In 1723, it belonged to a pastor from Rīga, Depkin, who gave it its name.  The two-story mansion at the estate was built in the style of Classicism in the 19th century and has been restored.  It is one of the best-preserved estates in the Pārdaugava region of Latvia.  The estate once had some 10 buildings, but only the mansion and the surrounding park remain.  The Baltic German writer, publicist and aristocrat Garlieb Merkel  spent much of his life (1808-1850) at the estate.  The Rāmava Estate offers accommodations (12 larger and smaller rooms for overnight), seminar facilities, a campsite and a venue for celebrations and photography sessions.
