	Freizeitanlage SAULESKALNS	Im Handwerkhaus „Sauleskalns“ kann man im Brot–Workshop lernen, wie man Roggenbrot und Sklandrausis backt. Die Wirte erklären, wie man Roggenbrot in einem Elektroherd backt, teilen das Rezept und den Sauerteig. Das Gästehaus bietet Unterkunft, Saunen und Möglichkeiten der aktiven Erholung.
	''Upenite''	Der Hof "Upenite" befindet sich am südlichen Ufer des Sees Cirisa ezers. Ein ausgezeichneter Bio-Hof, auf dem lettgallische Traditionen gepflegt, Milchprodukte (auch Käse) hergestellt, einheimische Kulturpflanzen (diese kann man auch erwerben) angebaut und die lettgallische Rauchsauna angeboten werden, in der als Saunameister die Wirte arbeiten. Meisterkurse im Backen von Torten organisiert. Lettische Küche: Bauernsuppe (Fleischbrühe mit Grützen), gefüllte Kartoffelpfannkuchen Gulbešnīki, Kartoffelwürste (geriebene unreife Kartoffeln mit gebratenem Schweinfleisch und Zwiebeln), schwarze Johannisbeeren mit Schlagsahne, Kümmelstangen, Kräutertees, Quark mit Sauerrahm, Pfannkuchen aus Sauermilch. Das besondere Gericht: Im Ofen gebackener Karpfen oder gebackene Schleie aus dem eigenen Teich.

	CIDRE-MOSTEREI ABULS	Der Cidre-Keller und Apfelgarten der Mosterei „Abuls“ am Stadtrand von Smiltene, im Oberlauf des Abula-Flusses. Eine der ältesten und auch kleinsten Cidre-Mostereien in Lettland. Im Apfelgarten gibt es etwa 400 für Nord-Vidzeme typische Apfelbaumsorten und selbst ausgewählte, für Cidre geeignete Wildapfelbäume.
	PIENA MUIZA - BERGHOF PIRTIS	The Berghof Milk Estate with saunas. The weekend sauna at the estate offers a country sauna and the holiest type of traditional sauna – the black rock sauna. 	Mühlenwirtshaus des Schlosses von Birini	Das Wirtshaus befindet sich am Mühlensee im Park des Schlosses von Birini und bietet eine schöne Aussicht aus seiner Sommerterrasse. Es ist in dem ehemaligen Gebäude der Mühle eingerichtet, wo die Gegenstände der alten Zeiten erhalten worden sind. Lettische Küche: Graue Erbsen mit Speck, Hering mit Kartoffeln, Keramiktopf mit geschmortem Huhn und Kartoffeln, Pfifferlingsoße, geschmortes Kraut mit Jagdwürsten, Apfelkuchen.
	Imantas	Die Kneipe befindet sich an der Ostsee-Steilküste. Die saisonale Speisekarte legt den Schwerpunkt auf lokale Fischen und Neunaugen. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, die frisch gebackene lokale Spezialität Žograusis (Kuchen aus Roggenteig und Karotten) zu verkosten.
	Dvietes istais lauku saldejums	The true country ice cream at Dviete is provided by a family company which makes ice cream from locally sourced milk and barriers. There are no E-substances, no plant oils, and less sugar than is common. The cows which provide the milk are not kept in sheds. They graze in the biological pastures of the Dviete wetlands. They are known as “happy cows,” and the milk ensures a unique taste for the ice cream that is made of it. The café offers homemade ice cream and waffles, as well as delicious coffee in a lovely and well-appointed place from which you can see the lovely and extensive Dviete wetlands. Groups can contact the ice cream café to arrange for tastings or master classes on how ice cream is made.
	Musu Avenes	“We educate, create feelings and inspire people.” Those are the key concepts of the “Mūsu avenes” raspberry farm. The farm specialises in summer and autumn raspberries, but it also grows quince, honeysuckle, mulberry, rhubarb and various seasonal vegetables. Owners of the farm began to offer informative and interactive tours in 2023. Learn how the farm is run, what it bases its work on, and how it ensures bio-economics and a circulation economy. You’ll also learn details about how to grow and pick raspberries. A special mood is created by a cupola tent at the farm which offers visitors a chance to enjoy and unrivalled surrounding landscape. You can rent the cupola for a special and unusual site for celebrations or a photo session. The cupola on the raspberry farm will be an excellent choice.
	Rural Homestead of Janis Sicans	By the beekeeping farm “Kalniņi” there is a Bee Hut – small wooden house in which you can feel the presence of bees. The hives with seven bee families are built-in the sides of the Bee Hut, but inside the building they are designed as beds or seats. When looking at the building from the outside you can see the bee runs and also bees themselves. In addition, “Kalniņi” also offer different types of bee products – honey, pollen bread, beautiful and aromatic wax candles. It is possible to taste beekeeping products and enjoy a cap of warm tea. Families with kids can participate in educational workshops, learn how to make wax candles and gain information about the daily life in the beekeeping farm. Since summer 2018 everyone can also visit the House of Crafts, where you can participate in different activities such as Encaustic painting (also known as hot wax painting), create wooden souvenirs with burnt folk signs as well as create wax candles etc. The House of Crafts offers different itineraries for grownups, kids, youngsters and newlyweds. There you can also purchase the offered products - various flower honey, pollen, pollen bread, propolis, cell honey and wax candles.
	BAUMSCHULE „LIEPAS“	Die Bauernwirtschaft "Liepas” die sich in Dobele befindet ist eine dynamisch wachsende Pflanzenzucht, die sich auf Obstbäume, Beerensträucher und Rosenpflanzen spezialisiert. Im Angebot steht ein umfangreiches Angebot an selbst gezüchteten, qualitativen, den lettischen Klimabedingungen angepassten Obstbaum-, Rosen- und Beerenstrauchmaterial. Den Besuchern werden die Pflanzen in Containern sowie der Kennenlerngarten gezeigt, wo man sehen kann, wie der kleine Obstbaum erwachsen aussieht. Im Frühling kann man im Garten die Blütezeit genießen, und im Sommer und Herbst Kirschen, Pflaumen, Äpfel und Birnen kosten. Die pflanzen kann man auch kaufen.

	Pienjani Cidery	The only organically certified cider in Latvia. Our Story The fruit farm was established in 2009 with the aim of creating an orchard of cider apple varieties for the owner’s enjoyment and producing cider. Since 2021, they have been producing, testing, and exploring various cider flavours. Apples The farm boasts the largest organic apple orchard in Latvia, covering nearly 40 hectares, where various apple varieties are grown, including 'Monta', 'Dace', 'Auksis', 'Gita', 'Edīte', and other popular varieties. The orchard also features several apple varieties specifically for cider production. They collaborate with The Horticultural and Experimental Station at Pūre and the Horticulture Institute at Dobele. Ciders The Pienjāņi cider brand Jēpis is the only organically certified cider in Latvia. They also offer fresh apples and apple juice under the Jēpis label. For Visitors The cidery welcomes experience exchange groups by prior arrangement. Where to Buy The Jēpis ciders are available at markets and specialized stores.
	Hostelis "Sili"	Hostel "Sili" is located near Jelgava, in Mežciems. It has 19 rooms, as well as a conference and event hall, fully equipped kitchens with all the necessary equipment and utensils for cooking (ceramic hob, refrigerator, kettle, microwave, pots, pans and kitchen utensils). New and pleasant shared toilets and showers are available on each floor. Room cleaning and a bed linen set are included in the price. Also accessible for disabled guests - there is a specially equipped room as well as facilities. Guests have free parking at the hostel. 	Schloss von Birini	Das Schloss von Bīriņi ist von 1857 bis 1860 als der Besitz der Grafen von Pistolkors gebaut worden. Das neogotische Schloss wurde von dem Architekten aus Riga Friedrich Wilhelm Hess projektiert. Man kann Informationen darüber finden, dass nach dem Bau des Schlosses es das prachtvollste und modernste Historismus-Gebäude in der Region Vidzeme war. Den Schlosskomplex bilden ein großer Park und ein Waldpark aus dem 19. Jh. mit Anpflanzungen von ausländischen Pflanzenarten, der künstlich gebildete See Bīriņu ezers, die im Jahr 1814 gebaute Gruft mit dem Grabstein der Grafen von Mellin (um 1835), eine Wassermühle, das Haus des Verwalters, Pferdeställe und andere Gebäude. An dem Schloss sind Obelisken aufgestellt, die A. Pistolkors und N. Pistolkors gewidmet sind. Bis heute hat sich in dem Schloss die wertvolle dekorative Innenausstattung aus dem 19. Jh. erhalten. Das Schloss von Bīriņi wurde am Anfang des 20. Jhs. laut den Plänen des Architekten Rudolf Heinrich Zirkwitz umgebaut. Von 1926 bis 1995 befand sich in dem Schloss ein Sanatorium. Heute werden in dem Schlosskomplex verschiedene Veranstaltungen organisiert, hier befinden sich ein Hotel, ein Restaurant und ein Museum.
	Rakstu raksti / Andres el Leton pieminas maja	Kaltene is home to a memorial house that has been set up in honour of Andris Kārkliņš, who was known as the first internationally recognised flamenco guitarist of Latvian origin. Known as Andres El Leton, he was a composer, poet, writer and photographer. Visitors will learn all about the artist’s life and work via audio and video recordings. Up on the second floor of the building is a small creative workshop (SIA “Rakstu Raksti,” where people produce applied arts items such as folk costumes, linen products, accessories, souvenirs, etc. They sew apparel and home textiles from linen and other natural materials. The workshop has floristics specialists, and it accepts orders on sewn, knit and crocheted products. Master classes are also available. Visitors will enjoy local produced foodstuffs from the Roja Administrative District (fish, wine, cheese, conserves, jams, teas, etc.). Handicrafts and souvenirs are available for purchase.
	Aldara alus darbnica	"Aldara alus darbnīca" ir modernākais alus muzejs Baltijas valstīs un pirmais Latvijā. Alus muzejs atrodas vēsturiskajā Aldara kvartālā – Sarkandaugavā. Pēc vērienīgas rekonstrukcijas, vēsturiskās ēkas atjaunošanas un alus ekspozīcijas izveides, muzejs savas durvis vēra 2015. gada maijā. Muzejs izvietots trijos stāvos 800 kvadrātmetru platībā. Muzeja interjerā ir akcentētas vēsturiskās liecības, tā lepnums ir autentiskā alus vārītavas zāle, kas neskarta saglabāta kopš 1938. gada. Tās senie alus vārīšanas vara katli ir retums, kas saglabājušies līdz pat mūsdienām. Izmantojot jaunākās tehnoloģijas, senajos vārīšanas katlos interaktīvā veidā ir iespējams izpētīt četru galveno alus sastāvdaļu – ūdens, apiņu, iesala un rauga – burvību. Alus muzejs "Aldara alus darbnīca" labi papildina ēkas otrajā spārnā izvietoto alus darītavu, kas ikdienā brūvē pašas izsmalcinātākās Aldara alus šķirnes. Aldara alus darbnīcas viesiem ir iespēja izzināt Latvijā un citviet pasaulē brūvēto alus šķirņu dažādību un šarmu, iepazīties ar alus brūvēšanas noslēpumiem, kā arī pašiem nogaršot dažādus alus veidus. Tiek arī piedāvātas telpas dažādiem pasākumiem - konferencēm, semināriem, svinībām un saviesīgiem vakariem.
	Lauskis Winery and Cidery	Das Weingut "LAUSKIS" wurde im Jahre 2019 gegründet und liegt in der Gemeinde Ledmane, im dortigen Gutshof Krape. Ein 300 Jahre alter Gewölbekeller des Gutshofes beherbergt das Weingut. Der Name "LAUSKIS" wurde zu Ehren des Herren Vilis Lauskis verliehen, dem Urgroßvater des Weingutbesitzers Vents Grinbaums. Vor etwa 100 Jahren hat der bekannte Obstgärtner – Vilis Lauskis Obstbäume und Beerensträuche angepflanzt. Die Früchte dieser über Generationen gepflegten Pflanzen dienen heute als wertvoller biologischer Naturstoff und verleihen dem Wein eine exquisite Qualität. Die Tour bietet Weinproben und Erfrischungen im 300 Jahre alten Gewölbekeller des Gutshofes, die von Geheimnissen und Geistergeschichten begleitet werden. Einblicke in den Weinherstellungsprozess erhalten Sie direkt durch den Eigentümer des Weinguts. Nach der Weinprobe können Sie unter riesigen betagten Eichen durch den alten Park des Gutshofs Krape spazieren und die schöne Aussicht auf den Fluss bewundern.
	"Arpus laika"	The name of the house is ‘Ārpus Laika’ and it means ‘Beyond Time’. The family has created a landscape park and they practice green living in a dome house designed by themselves. The family also manufactures garden furniture and hammocks. The buildings are surrounded by a beautiful park and a pond full of frogs and fishes. The surrounding landscape of the park with a pergola, a bridge, a forest and fields creates a very tranquil countryside atmosphere that can be experienced just a short drive away from the capital city. The hostess makes wines and offers tasting of different sorts. She also demonstrates cooking of traditional Latvian desserts. The place is also popular for weddings and post-wedding photo sessions.
