Takas sākums meklējams pie autostāvlaukuma, no kura paveras plašs skats uz Krāslavu un Daugavas senieleju. Adamovas krauja (aizsargājams ģeoloģisks piemineklis) ir viena no garākajām (ap 1,7 km) un augstākajām (25 - 35 m) Daugavas kraujām. Tā veidojusies sānu erozijas rezultātā, Daugavas ūdeņiem noskalojot Daugavas pamatkrastu Adamovas loka ziemeļdaļā. |

The café is at the edge of the Cēsis-Valmiera road. It is in a log building with a Latvian interior design. Vegetables and fruits are bought from local farmers. Latvian cuisine: Crepes, potato pancakes, cold soup, wild mushroom soup, sorrel soup according to a recipe from granny, porridge, grey peas, baked herring, filet of cod, beef sautéed in Brenguļi beer, sautéed rabbit, stacked rye bread. Special foods: "Glendeloka". |

Kopējais takas garums ir 3.5 km, tā sākas netālu no Engures Ornitoloģisko pētījumu centra, līkumo caur kalcifilajiem purviem un mežam putnu novērošanas torņa virzienā, un aizvijas tālāk gar atjaunoto ezera piekrastes pļavu, kurā mīt govis un zirgi. Takas sākumā novietotajā informācijas zīmē attēlotas ne tikai apkārtnē sastopamās orhidejas. Tur iespējams gūt daudzpusīgu informāciju arī par citām interesantām Engures ezera dabas parka augu sugām.

The Apriķi Lutheran Church is, for good reason, known as one of the most beautiful churches in Kurzeme. It was owned by the Osten-Zacken dynasty in the past, built in the 17th century, and rebuilt in 1710. The wooden interior is in the Rococo style with elements of the Baroque, and it dates to the mid-18th century. It is amazingly ornate. The beautiful ceiling paintings, which were produced by a Prussian painter called Rode, were painted between 1744 and 1746. |

Sāmsalas ziemeļrietumu daļā jūrā iestiepjas iespaidīgā Tagameizas pussala (Tagamõisa poolsaar). Tās ziemeļrietumu daļā meklējama mazāka – ap 5 km garā Harilaidas pussala (Harilaid). Pussalas vidusdaļā viļņojas Lajalepas ezers (Laialepa järv) - bijušais jūras līcis, kas zemes garozai ceļoties, kļuvis par iekšēju ūdenstilpi. Arī pati Harilaida (igauniski „laid” nozīmē „saliņa”) vairāk nekā trīs gadsimtus atpakaļ bijusi sala. Harilaidu iecienījuši ne tikai migrējošie putni, bet arī roņi, kurus piesaista vientuļi līči un akmeņainās sēres. Harilaidu var apmeklēt tikai ar kājām vai ar divriteni, bet spēkrati ir jāatstāj autostāvlaukumā. No tā ~ 1 km attālumā atrodas vieta, kur pēc 17. gs. radies Harilaidas savienojums ar Sāmsalu. Šeit paveras nepierasti klaja un akmeņaina ainava. Pārējā Harilaidas daļa ir apmežota pirms ~ 40 gadiem. Kopumā būs jāveic ~ 10 km garš pārgājiens. |

The farm breeds goats and uses goat milk to produce cheese and other products. A presentation hall offers visitors a chance to taste ice cream made of goat milk, as well as purchase goat-related souvenirs and other products. There are tours of the farm, too. |

Liela meža masīva vidū gleznainās Būkas (Būka) upes krastos starp kokiem ieslēpies teiksmainais Vaišnoriškes ciems. Šis ir viens no skaistākajiem nacionālā parka etnogrāfiskajiem ciemiem. Vaišnoriške kā apdzīvota vieta sākusi veidoties 1756. g., kad šeit sena vēsturiska ceļa malā darbojies krogs. Pirmā viensēta ciematā ir zināma no 1830. g. Šodien redzamā apbūve ir tapusi g.k. 20. gs. sākumā. Ciems ir palicis cilvēku atmiņās ar liepu medu, jo meža velšu vākšana un biškopība bija viena no galvenajām šejieniešu nodarbēm. Tagad ciemā ir piecas sētas. No Vaišnoriškes var uzsākt laivu braucienu pa seklo un dzidro Būku. |

The Forest Trail follows small roads and trails through the woods. Along the route you will see the Ērģeļu Cliffs, where the observation terrace provides a great view of the impressive 700 m wide sandstone cliff and the beautiful natural landscape in the ancient River Gauja valley. One of the most beautiful places on the banks of the River Gauja is at “Caunītes” tourist lodging, where you will end the first day of the route. Further on the trail leads through pine forests and wetlands, across and around hills and slopes. One of the most beautiful views of the River Gauja opens from Sietiņiezis Rock, a 15 m high sandstone cliff where a circular 1.5 km trail has been constructed. Coming to Valmiera, you will reach the so-called “Dzelzītis” bridge (a narrow-gauge railway bridge) and continue walking along the River Gauja to Valmiera Centre. Sites of interest in Valmiera: St. Simon’s Church, ruins of the Livonian Castle and Valmiera Museum. There is also an adventure park “Sajūtu Parks” (“Park of Senses”), where you can walk on the barefoot trail, the tree-top trail and enjoy other activities. |

There are six islands in the Great Baltezers lake – the Auzu, Priežu, Mazā, Liepu, Ropažu and Meldru islands. These are distinguished by a great diversity of plants, including forests of broadleaf trees, black alders and pines. The territory can be surveyed quite well from the side of the Ādaži Lutheran Church. The Great Baltezers lake is a popular place for fishing, including ice fishing during the winter.

Atrodas ~ 1,5 km ziemeļos no Krāslavas centra, Jāņupītes krastā (ir norāde). Pēc atsevišķiem savrupatradumiem var spriest, ka pilskalns apdzīvots laikā no I g. t. pr. Kristus līdz vēlajam dzelzs laikmetam. Domājams, ka savu nosaukumu tas ieguvis šeit sastopamo mālu dēļ. Nelielas mālu ieguves vietas pilskalna nogāzēs ir redzamas arī šodien. Saglabājies nostāsts, ka grāfs Plāters šeit apraudājis savu sievu, kuru pats neuzticības dēļ licis iemūrēt pazemē. |
