The farm has a fabulous apple orchard and also grows potatoes and strawberries. You can buy apples and taste strawberries.

Maršruts "Murjāņi - Līgatne" ved caur Gaujas senieleju ar devona smilšakmens atsegumiem, raksturīgo augu valsti un dzīvniekiem. Krastos sastopami Latvijā lielākie nogāžu un gravu meži ar liepām, ozoliem, gobām un ošiem. Upes līkumos palienē aug baltalkšņu un vīksnu audzes. Uz koku stumbriem atrodams plaušķērpis. Senieleja bagāta ar sausokņiem un kritalām, tāpēc Gaujas krastu mežos dzīvo visu Latvijā sastopamo dzeņu dzimtas sugu putni. Smilšainajās Gaujmalas pļavās un Gaujas vecupēs ir bagātīga bezmugurkaulnieku fauna. Upes krastos ir smilšakmens klintis ar čurkstu alām un zivju dzenīša ligzdām. Klinšu pakājē iztek avoti, kas uztur mikroklimatu ielejā. Gauja ir nozīmīga arī kā Latvijas lielākā lašupe. Maršruts ir daļēji marķēts un papildināts ar norādēm un informācijas stendiem.

The workshop manufactures household products such as benches, tables, hangers, kitchen equipment, sauna barrels, other barrels, outstanding souvenirs of wood, etc. You can commission or buy the products, and tours are also available.

This facility is in the historical village of Pape in Southern Kurzeme.  Accommodations are available in an historical granary with a roof made of reeds.  It is appropriate for inhabitation during the late spring, the summer and the early fall.  There are three bedrooms, a small front room and a kitchen, with two floors in all.  The building will fit eight people.  This is an ideal location for creative camps, plenary sessions, master workshops and other activities.  There are tenting areas for as many as 80 people.  The Mikjāņi farm observes local traditions and offers traditional foods such as “herring on coals,” white butter with boiled potatoes, fish soup, etc., for visitors who apply for a meal in advance.  This offer is only available to groups which register in advance.

The craftsman produces bespoke and elegant interior design objects such as wooden furniture (closets, beds), stairs and other useful items. He will be happy to share his knowledge and experience. Among other things, Andris Prikulis has built several wooden altars for churches.

Sedas purva kājnieku maršruts atrodas dabas liegumā Sedas purvs, pārgājienu pa maršrutu iespējams apvienot ar Sedas pilsētas apskati, kas ir unikāls 20.gs. 50.–60. gadu pilsētbūvniecības un arhitektūras paraugs -  kūdras purva strādnieku pilsēta. Maršrutam ir divi apļi - Jērcēnu aplis - 5,5 km un Sedas aplis - 4,2 km. Tajos apakatāms izstrādātais kūdras purvs, šaursliežu dzelzceļš, ritošais sastāvs, divi skatu toņi. Rudenī un pavasarī - putnu migrācijas lāikā -  interesanta vieta putnu vērošanai.

The Baltic Coastal Hiking Route goes through Nõva Nature reserve where you will have exceptional views of the white and grey dunes. The beaches are popular for fishing and kite-surfing. In Dirhami you can spend some time in a cafe and from its terrace you will have a beautiful view of the sea and the port. Along the way you can also see ancient Swedish hamlets with a different cultural environment and landscape, as well as shallow lakes that have been separated from the sea. 

This is a territory that is unique at the Latvian and the Baltic level, one which stretches from Valmiera to the Gulbene District. Here we find the irregular Gauja River valley with a dense system of ancient rivers. The meadows on the banks of these rivers are important in terms of biological diversity. There are stands of oak and broad-leaf trees. Many rare and protected birds live and next here – the corn-crake, the woodpecker, etc. The territory is excellent for bird watching, nature studies, ecological tourism and various kinds of active tourism.
