In 2017, a design hotel was opened in Cesis, on the banks of the Gauja River. At the end of 19th century and at the beginning of 20th century Russian aristocrats built villas for summer recreation here. At present, six hectares of the territory are home to three villas (Villa Santa, Villa Ieva and Villa Carola) with a restaurant, a hall of TILTA HOUSE, an ancient apple garden and a restored wooden gazebo. The hotel has 30 rooms, with a light interior, with a touch of Scandinavian minimalism and Latvian bourgeoisie, preserving the aura of the summer cottage.

The herd consists of around 200 goats. The Joži farm is along the side of the Jaunpils-Viesata road in Jaunpils.  It is one of the largest grain farms in Latvia (winter and summer grains, as well as rapeseed), and it was established in the late 1980s and early 1990s.  Today the farm has 14 grain silos and is reconstructing its grain drying facility.  The farm has some 5,000 ha of land and state-of-the-art farm equipment.  Owners  Gunvaldis and Guna Sproģis have been actively involved in various EU projects and have won various competitions such as the "Sower" competition.

The craftsmen's association unites 65 craftsmen from Rūjiena and its surroundings. Offers baking, jam cooking, cheese tying, jewelry making, leather goods, crochet and culinary master classes. Also offers "Made in Rūjiena" tastings (bread, smoked products, culinary products, jams, fresh juices, pumpkin products, seasonal berries and fruits, other dishes in each season) and shopping.

 Ja no Pervalkas (Pervalka) pa Kuršu jomas krastu ar kājām (neliela taka) dosimies Klaipēdas (ziemeļu) virzienā, pēc 10 – 15 min gājiena nonāksim līdz Arkļu ragam (Arklių ragas, citās kartēs – Žirgų ragas), kam iepretim ~ 0,2 km attālumā no krasta uz mākslīgi veidotas akmeņainas salas slejas 14 m augstā bāka. Tā celta ~ 1900. g. vietā, kur savienojas trīs kuģu ceļi no Klaipēdas, Nidas un Ventes raga (Ventės ragas). No šejienes paveras fantastisks skats un Nagļu dabas rezervāta iespaidīgajām kāpām.

The owner produces honey and related products such as pollen and propolis, honey wine, and an alcoholic beverage called “Bee’s Kiss.” You can take a tour of the beekeeping operations and purchase the products.

Painted in dark colours, this building dates back to the 17th century (the square around it is cited in documents).  The city’s first prison was in the cellar of the building, and the square was historically a place for residents of the city could gather and suffer punishments.  A pole of shame was at the south-eastern corner of the square.  The building now houses the Kuldīga Tourism Information Centre and a workshop for weavers.  Visitors can purchase products and souvenirs from Kurzeme and watch weavers at work.
