The tour is lead by the professional mycologist and combines the mysterious world of mushrooms with local culinary traditions. Latvia has ancient traditions involving mushrooms. For centuries they been used for eating.  Mushroom gathering tradition is well alive and persuaded in Latvia more than in any other European country. People carrying baskets full of mushrooms in autumn is common site in the country roads and trains coming into the city. Almost every Latvian has some secret mushrooming place and there are plenty of funny stories around the subject. There is even a mushroom gathering festival annually. Modern as well as traditional mushroom preparation is very popular. There are around 4100 mushroom species in Latvia, 1100 of those are cup mushrooms. About ¼ of these are edible. The most popular edible ones are various Boletus and Chanterelles. 
 

RIGAAPARTMENT GERTRUDA renovated historic building is located in Riga’s city centre. It features high ceilings, wooden floors and stylish furniture. It is just 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive to the Old Riga Town. There are apartments and rooms which vary in size and accommodation; a range of one, two and three bedroom apartments are available for rent with everything you might need during your stay. Rentals can be for any period from an overnight stay to weekends or for as long as you might need.

Villa Gaida is a complex of 3 old wooden buildings in Saulkrasti, by the sea. Their history dates back to the 19th century. The buildings are currently being renovated and reborn for the 4th time. The big house is ready and there are 5 holiday apartments waiting for it: Rose, Peony, Water Rose, Sunflower and Poppy. The apartments have both ancient and modern interiors. They have restored furniture by Latvian masters, colored veranda glass, equipped kitchens and 1 or more bedrooms. One of the apartments has a bathtub and a roof terrace with sea views. There are also two apartments in the barn house.

The 3rd house will also be renovated, where all the guests of the apartments will have a rest - a library, a piano, a wood-burning oven and the opportunity to drink wine.

A small and modern hotel with 22 rooms, located in the center of Kaunas, very close to the main pedestrian street, the Laisves Avenue. The hotel has a restaurant, breakfast room, Wi-Fi and free parking. 2 small conference and seminar rooms.

The house is located in Salacgriva 200m from the river Salaca. It is divided into 3 fully equipped apartments with separate entrances. Located 15 minutes from the sea and 10 minutes from the store. There are three suites - two for seven people and one for five people. The apartments are well-equipped, with a terrace, garden, bicycle rental and various amenities. In addition, it offers a house with 7 rooms, a large kitchen and two bathrooms.
