Hostel "Sili" is located near Jelgava, in Mežciems. The “Tiny Village Latvia” campsite is in Bērzciems and 200 metres from the sea. There are three huts which sleep four (Western, Northern and Southern). These are equipped with everything that guests want to feel cosy and comfortable. Each hut has a loo, a kitchen with an electric stove, a tea kettle, a refrigerator and dishes. The huts are heated and air conditioned. There is a hot jacuzzi outside along with a sauna and a grill. You can order breakfast and dinner. Fans of active leisure can rent bikes or SUP boards. A tennis court is nearby, and the Lake Engure Nature Park that is also nearby offers a chance to encounter wild cows and horses. |

The true country ice cream at Dviete is provided by a family company which makes ice cream from locally sourced milk and barriers. There are no E-substances, no plant oils, and less sugar than is common. The cows which provide the milk are not kept in sheds. They graze in the biological pastures of the Dviete wetlands. They are known as “happy cows,” and the milk ensures a unique taste for the ice cream that is made of it. The café offers homemade ice cream and waffles, as well as delicious coffee in a lovely and well-appointed place from which you can see the lovely and extensive Dviete wetlands. The birthplace of Latvia’s first prime minister and, later, president, Kārlis Ulmanis (1877-1942) was turned into a museum in 1993. The campsite is located in Slītere National Park, 3 kilometers from the sandy Baltic Sea. There are 6 buildings with a total of 50 beds - rooms for 3, 5, 6 or 12 people. The Berghof Milk Estate with saunas. The weekend sauna at the estate offers a country sauna and the holiest type of traditional sauna – the black rock sauna.
