Первые письменные источники об усадьбе датируются 3-ей четвертью 18-го века. В 1759 году усадебный комплекс включает в себя 14 зданий. В 1759 году Шарлотта Ливен получила Межотне в подарок от Российской императрицы Екатерины II. Тогда же и в Мазмежотне начались масштабные строительные работы. Здания усадьбы сильно пострадали во время Первой мировой войны. Во время первой независимости усадьба стала образцовой, однако во время Второй мировой войны было сожжено жилое здание. В 2007 году были начаты работы по восстановлению комплекса Мазмежотне. Мазмежотне – окруженное природой место для отдыха гостей на холме долины берегов Лиелупе, которое предлагает ночлег, питание, место для торжеств, мероприятий и семинаров, а для любителей активного отдыха и любителей природы – катание на велосипедах, лодках и прогулки по природной тропе и окружающим тропам. Отдельное здание - старый сарай прекрасно отреставрирован и подходит для проведения торжеств, концертов. Старая сыроварня переделана в баню с джакузи, гостиной, террасой. Вокруг усадьбы проложена природная тропа, ведущая по склону левого берега долины Лиелупе и знакомящая с разнообразием природы на берегах Лиелупе.

“Oasis” is a family company.  The family successfully opened a series of restaurants, including “Zviedru vārti.”  The owners have now taken a new step and offered a chance to watch birds at Lake Babīte.  3.5 ha of land, with room for tents and picnics, and soon there will be a sauna for 2-4 people and a holiday house for 2-4.  Also on offer will be a hot jacuzzi with hydro-massage and LED lights.  The site is 30 minutes by car from Rīga.  Drive down the Ventspils highway and take the turn that leads to Gātciems.

The holiday house "Jaunlīdumnieki" is located on the steep bank of the Suda River, with beautiful views of the river. The proximity of the river allows you to enjoy a variety of entertainment in the vicinity of the water - swimming in a well-equipped swimming place, fishing, boat rental - kayaks, canoes, SUP board.

A living room with a fireplace and a kitchen corner is on the first floor of the holiday home, on the 2nd floor there is a bedroom with a comfortable double bed and 2 pull-out sofas. There is also a sauna with an electric oven in the house, a sauna ritual with an experienced person is offered. There are 2 separate rooms for a toilet and a shower.

The outdoor area has a pleasant garden corner with garden furniture, where you can dine, sunbath or just relax on your own.

The guest house Depo is situated in the authentic recreation rooms of the Soviet locomotive brigade, on the second floor of the depot’s administrative building, next to the very popular tourism object – the train  Gulbene- Aluksne. Pēteris Tutāns runs a wickerwork workshop, “Kalndaķi,” in a lovely location near Milzukalns hill.  The workshop dates back to the mid-1980s as a family operation.  In 1999, the family turned the workshop into a true business, “Pinumu Pasaule,” which today is one of the largest wickerwork companies in Latvia.  The company is run by wife Lolita, while Pēteris works at his creative workshop, “Kalndaķi.”

Raw materials for the wickerwork include debarked or not debarked osier wicker from trees which grow on the farm.  The whole process from growing the wicker and finishing the product is handled by hand.  Pēteris weaves baskets, kitchen utensils, interior design objects, garden furnishings, toys for children and various souvenirs.  Visit the workshop and see how the wicker is grown. Purchase finished products or take part in a wickerwork master class.

Feeling Cone is an opportunity to enjoy the magic of the forest and at the same time comfort, as well as a wonderful view, spending the night in a "cone", or tent, which is fastened to a tree. The construction is durable and firmly attached to the wood. "Čiekurs" is equipped with a bed, carpet and a small table, as well as a WC for guests. Tent camping was established in 2018.
