	Vilani Old-Believers Prayer House	Viļāni Old-Believers Prayer House. The architect P.Pavlovs built Old-Believers Prayer House in 1930s. The congregation was established very recently. Nevertheless the 14 meters high tower was constructed in 2004. The Prayer House is a very simple building but you will be pleased to see the magnificent icons. The Prayer House has been renovated completely.
	Rimsi Old-Believers Prayer House	Rimši Old-Believers Prayer House. The church was built in the beginning of the 20th century.
	The Svires guesthouse	You can go fishing in five fish ponds and then dry the fish. The owner prepares hot-smoked trout, dried carps, and fish soup cooked on a campfire. You can also buy chicken eggs.
	Recina Old-Believers Prayer House	Rečina Old-Believers Prayer House was built in 1912. It has a rectangular shape with a single-hall, rubble-wall foundation and a small tower on the top of the altar.
	A market of country goodies in Balvi	On the second Saturday of each month, farmers, home manufacturers and craftspeople gather together to offer their products. You will always find tasty and useful things here.
	The Roman Catholic Church of John the Baptist in Viski	The church was built of fieldstones between 1908 and 1925 in the Tudor Neo-Gothic style (designed by the Liepāja-based architect Stadmann). It replaced a wooden church that dated back to 1621, and its steeple offers a lovely view of lakes that surround the village of Višķi.
	Vainova Old-Believers Prayer House	Vainova Old-Believers Prayer House was built in 1980 replacing the previous church that was burnt by lightening. Initially, the Prayer House was one of the biggest churches in Latgale (for 2 000 people). The congregation of the church exists since the 18th century.
	Idena graveyard chapel	Īdeņa graveyard chapel has Catholic church services. Īdeņa chapel was built in 1898 by the foundation of dean Smilgevičs. The church is devoted to the honor of the Holy Cross. The chapel has a small bell tower and the weatherboards. You shouldn’t miss the chapel’s special celebration that is the indulgences of St. Francis of Assisi, stigmata day in September 17.
	The “Raibais asaris” café	The café is on the edge of the Jēkabpils-Rēzekne road (A12) in a lovely location by a pond where guests can fish for perch, pike, tench and carp. Eastern cuisine and fish dishes are offered.
	Kraslavas centralais laukums	Arī 18. novembra laukums. Tas sācis veidoties 18. gadsimtā kā tirgus laukums. Tā dominantes bija 1752. g. celtais rātsnams (nav saglabājies) un aptieka, kas šajā ēkā darbojas no 1810. g. līdz pat mūsdienām. 2010. gadā laukumā izveidota strūklaka, kam ir pilsētas ģerboņa forma.
	Lake Salajs and Lake Little Solojs	Lake Salājs is full of bays and islands. Alongside Lake Little Solojs, which is next to Lake Salājs, is the Milka castle hill and a leisure facility there. This is a beautiful area, and it is protected for environmental purposes.
	The Andrupene farm	This is an authentic Lettigalian farm which dates back to the early 20^th century. It features a house, granary, cattle shed, sauna and smithy. Folklore groups perform here. You can celebrate the Summer Solstice, attend a St Michael’s Day market and learn ancient craftsmanship skills. Lettigalian foods are served to groups. Latvian cuisine: Cottage cheese pierogi, pancakes, homemade bread, butter, cheese, herbal teas, moonshine alcohol. Special foods: Andrupene bread.
	The History Museum of Malta	The History Museum of Malta. Exposition „History of Malta parish: from Rozentova and Borovaja to Malta”. We offer household items, tools of trade, works of art, collection of paper money and coins. Excursion outside the museum „At the cross-roads of Malta”. Working hours: Mon– Fri : 9.00 – 17.00, Sat., Sunday : closed

	The Rezekne castle hill	The Rēzekne castle hill is an impressive hillock (15 m) on the right bank of the Rēzekne River. From the 9^th to the 12^th century, there was a Lettigalian castle here. In 1285, the Livonian Order began to build a two-story stone castle on the site, and its ruins have survived to this very day. Alongside the castle hill is the Eastern Latvian Creative Service Centre - „Zeimuļs”, along with a tourism information centre.
	A commemorative stone at the home of Rainis’ parents	The stone is in the small village of Vasiļova, which is along the Daugavpils-Rēzekne (A13) road. The Vasiļova Semi-Estate used to be leased by the father of the great Latvian playwright Rainis, Krišjānis Pliekšāns.

	The Rezekne Old Believer Prayer House of St Nicholas	The Rēzekne Old Believer Prayer House of St Nicholas is in the southern part of the city, at Siņicina Street 4. The house of worship was built in 1895 and rebuilt in 1906. Its tower has three silver and brass bells (restored), and one of them is thought to be the largest bell in Latvia (4,832 kg with a tongue that weighs 200 kg in and of itself). Alongside is a museum which features the cultural and religious environment of the Old Believers.
	The Ludza castle hill	The Ludza castle hill offers one of the most interesting views in Latgale – that of the oldest town in Latvia and its historical centre, Great Lake Ludza and Small Lake Ludza, the ruins of the castle of the Livonian Order, Baznīckalns hill, churches, the regional research museum, the craftsmen’s centre, etc.
