The holiday houses are located near Lake Ieva, 30 m from the lake shore. On the 1st floor of the holiday house - lounge with fireplace and glazed veranda, sauna (50.00 EUR / evening), small kitchenette, toilet. Outside-small terrace overlooking the lake. The key treasure in this park is that it has a lake that is one of the most intensive sites for birdwatchers in all of Latvia. It also features outstanding flora and the shallow waters of the Bay of Rīga. Recommended: Hike along the seashore from Mērsrags to Engure (20 km). See wild domestic animals (horses and cows) on the eastern shore of Lake Engure. There’s a bird-watching tower on the NW shore of the lake (approach from Kūļciems, where you can see domestic animals adapted to life in the wild, including the Blue Cows of Latvia). A bird-watching tower can be found at a place called Jomiņa near Mērsrags, where the seashore meadow is an uncommon biotope

This is one of the most impressive and extensive natural structures of its kind in Latvia in terms of appearance and landscape. The ice age left behind this wall-like terrain, which is up to 27 metres high and at the top of which the Rīga-Ērgļi road has been built. The Great Kangari hills offer a view of the Great Kangars lake and the Great Kangari swamps and ponds. The Ķoderi castle hill, also known as the “Big Man’s Bed” is found here. The restricted area was established to protect the structure and its related biotopes and plants.

This arboretum is in a lovely location in the Vidzeme highlands. It covers 140 hectares of land and offers a look at interesting coniferous trees, lianas, lilacs, rhododendrons and peonies. The facility has a modern visitor information centres.
Unique species: The Tulip Tree (Liriodendron tulipifera), the Fringe Tree (Chionanthus virginicus), and the Kobushi Magnolia (Magnolia kobus).

Teiči Nature Reserve — untouched territory, bogs, and birds. This is a significant bird resting place before seasonal migrations. Here you can see up to 1,500 cranes and 8,000 geese at once. The bog is a mating-place for black-cocks, therefore if you are near in an early spring, listen, and maybe you will hear these majestic mating calls. The trail can be visited only with the Nature Conservation Agency employee's escort from June 1 until October 31. |

The farm "Kronīši" is located in Viļķenes Parish, Limbažu County. The farm grows organic vegetables that are processed into various home preserves. Teas are produced from plants collected from organic meadows, jams, preserves, syrups and juices are also on offer. Fruits and berries are collected from the garden itself, as well as from local farmers and the nearby Rūstuži and Blome marshes. The farm welcomes tourists and exchange groups with prior application. For family events, incl. a teahouse is available for children's parties, creative workshops and other activities. Offers tours with Soviet-era cars and retro cars. |

The farm produces mixes involving seeds from various plants – ones which are very healthy in terms of human nutrition. Visitors will hear stories, purchase products and taste hemp pancakes. The tour takes place at the “Mazais Ansis” saloon. |

The restricted area was established to protect this part of the Ogre River valley, which has ancient river beds and meadows with relevant biotopes and populations. Among these are the wych elm and the European white elm, which are not often found in Latvia.

Latvian blackhead sheep are in a clean environment at the Ances farm, which is in the Northern Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve near the border with Estonia. It is in the Naukšēni Parish, where chemical plant protection substances and mineral fertilisers have never been used intensively. The sheep roam freely during the winter and summer, with fencing to protect them against wolves and wild boar. The farm only uses female sheep born as twins or triplets, including animals for genetic resources. All of the sheep come from German blackhead sheep and are only mated with high-quality LT rams in January, February, August and September. |

The Lejas Kleperi farm straddles the boundary between the Cēsis and Valka Districts. The farm is 119.4 hectares large, with 86.1 hectares of forestland. The farm’s work is centred on forestry. In 1992, a private museum of farming and forestry equipment was set up in one of the residential buildings. The museum’s collection is constantly being updated.

The tower is on one side of the range of hills known as Grantskalni (a continuation of the Blue hills of Ogre), and it offers a broad view of the Daugava River valley and the Pārogre residential district. The dendrology park that is nearby is worth a visit, because it is rich with different kinds of plants.

The saloon is on the shore of Lake Alūksne and the Jaunsētas country tourism and leisure centre. The log saloon’s interior is based on the style of the 17th century, when a girl was born in the area who was raised by her foster father Ernst Glick and would later become Empress Catharine the Great, Wife of Peter the Great of Russia. |
