Embute is traditionally connected to the tragedy of Rainis named „Indulis and Arija”- there is a possibility to organize open-air excursions for groups of school students, to visit places connected to the legend of the play.

The remains of Embute church are used for wedding ceremonies in the open air. The place is ideal for organizing camps, art sessions, adventure competitions. The facilities of the lodgings include: 5-person and 6-person rooms and a double room on two floors of the house. On each floor there is a shared bathroom and a toilet. Camping in Līgatne near the river-crossing. The guesthouse offers showers, WC, electricity supply, tables with canopies, fireplaces, driveway and a shop nearby. Camping is located on the riverside. In the winter, the bobsleigh rides are available.
