Guests have access to three two-person glamping tents in a unique place in the Veclaicene Parish, which is right by the border between Latvia and Estonia. The tents are well-equipped with a hardwood bed with a comfortable mattress, two pillows, two large blankets, bed linens, two towels, two duvets, a chest for visitors’ things, two easy chairs on a terrace, and a little table with a bench. Each tent is hooked up to electricity, with available plugs and lights. The territory has a common-use summer kitchen with three lavatories. The venue is located in the forest, with a set of ponds that very much bring the landscape back to life. It offers Latvian dishes and culinary seminars for those who are interested. Some dishes are cooked on large pans on a campfire or smoked or grilled. Guest house Agave is located in Līgatne region, 6 km from Augšlīgatne, 18 km from Sigulda, 56 km from Riga in a beautiful, quiet and scenic place in the Gauja National Park. This farm was one of the first to grow large-berry cranberries and blackberries in Latvia (since 1997). The swamp used to be used for peat moss extraction, but today it is home to cranberry, blackberry, raspberry and strawberry fields. You can pick, taste and purchase berries and take a tour. We also recommend a visit to the Very Berry factory (approximately 3 km away in Dārzciems), where juices, syrups and beverages are manufactured. |

The Saulgriezes guesthouse is near Bernāte with 10 flats of different types and sizes. There is a pine forest near the guesthouse, and the beach is 500 m away. Guests have access to a playground for children, as well as a place for campfires. The flats are appropriate for families with children, business trips, or leisure alone, as a couple or with a group of friends. All of the flats have sleeping areas with bed linens, a leisure zone, a dining area and a kitchen where light meals can be prepared. The kitchen has a refrigerator, a stove, an electric tea kettle, an oven surface, dishes and utensils. Guests also have access to a bathroom with a shower, hair dryer, slippers, towels, lavatory items and hygienic items. There are televisions in the flats, along with free WIFI and a private parking spot for cars. The territory also has a sauna with a leisure area, as well as a banquet room for approximately 60 guests. |

The café is on the Jelgava ring road between Lielupe and Vircava, offering meat and dairy products from Zemgale, as well as locally grown vegetables. The café has a partnership with the “Rudiņi” deer garden. “Kārkļu osta” is a family campsite on the banks of the Daugava River 4.5 km from the Koknese castle ruins. There are 10 ha of land for private events, sports events, consolidation events, camping and master classes. There is unhurried relaxation for family members or friends. A large (6x12m) tent is available for events on the banks of the river. It can accommodate between 40 and 60 people. There are also two leisure huts with four beds in each of them. There is space for picnics, tents and trailers, with a lean-to with a table, a grill and a place for a campfire available, as well. There is electricity, fresh water, lavatories and a shower. Should you wish to go fishing or rowing, we have three Amber 365 bots that you can rent with a Honda 2.5hp gas engine. SUP boards are available, and the campsite has a football pitch, a volleyball area and a novus table. |

The Bīriņi palace was built in 1857-1860 as a family property of Counts von Pistolkors. The palace was designed by Riga architect F. W. Hess. Information can be found that in those times it was the most luxurious and modern historicism building in Vidzeme. The ensemble of the Bīriņi palace includes a wide park and forest of the19th century with plantings of alien species, an artificial lake Bīriņi, a family vault built in 1814 with a tomb monument to Counts von Mellin (aproximately in 1835), a watermill, manager's house, stables, etc. Obelisks to A. And N von Pistolkors are erected near the palace. Until today, there have been preserved valuable indoor decorative finishes of the second half of the 19th century. The Birini palace was rebuilt in the start of the 20th century after the project of Architect R. H. Zirkwitz. From 1926 to 1995, a sanatorium functioned there. Today, the palace complex is used for various events, there is located a hotel, restaurant and museum. |

DabaLaba is in one of the places in Latvia that has the very lowest population density per square kilometre. There are huge forests around our venue with lots of animals, clean rivers and lovely forest lakes. DabaLaba launched operations in 2010 by renting boats. The next season we set up an archery range and started to offer guided tours of the surrounding environment – hikes, safari trips down the forest roads of the “Ance Swamps and Forests” restricted area, interesting, merry and lovely moments outdoors, hunting with your camera, as well as special trips for schoolchildren. Boats and SUP boards can be rented in Irbe, Rinda, Stende, Engure and Lonaste (or elsewhere on the basis of a separate agreement). Since August 2018, DabaLaba has offered the restaurant #Mežā during the summer months. It is in the centre of the forest and offers pure, tasty and healthy dishes made of local ingredients and no preservatives or additives. The menu has dishes for vegetarians and vegans, as well as dishes with no gluten and no lactose. We also have a country sauna where two people can spend the night after taking their sauna.

This is the first farm in Latvia which began to grow mushrooms. Informative tours are available, advice is given, and guests are treated with the “emperor mushroom” sauce or soup. You can also order other foods which involve shitake mushrooms or purchase them in dry or powdered form. The owner also produces an ancient herbal beverage called “Ponšo,” and it is only available at Garīkas. |
