Reškutenu (Reškutėnai) ciema apkārtnē ir atjaunots neliels mitrājs, kura malā uzcelts putnu vērošanas tornis. Ja paveicas, pavasaros te var dzirdēt vai redzēt tādas retas un aizsargājamas putnu sugas kā ķikutu Gallinago media, ormanīti Porzana porzana, melnkakla dūkuri Podiceps nigricollis, griezi Crex crex u.c. Ciema ainava īpaši pievilcīga ir pieneņu un ābeļu ziedēšanas laikā. No putnu vērošanas torņa var redzēt vietas, kur akmens laikmetā dzīvojuši cilvēki. Blakus esošajā purvainajā pļavā bijis ezera līcis, kur tika būvēti ciemati līdzīgi kā Āraišu ezerpils gadījumā.

The most important aspects of this park are a shallow lagoon-type lake – Lake Pape, with its flood land meadows, the shore of the Baltic Sea, the Nida swamp, and the more than 270 different types of birds that have been spotted here. The oldest bird ringing station in Latvia (est. 1966) is found between Lake Pape and the Baltic Sea. Birds and bats are caught and ringed there. Lake Pape is the first place in Latvia where so-called “wild” horses (the “Konik” breed) were released with the aim of managing the flood land meadows.

The museum is located in Pilkuse manor farm, exhibits on display are carts, carriages and sleighs along with accessories from horse collars to lap robes. Military, emergency and fire brigade carts are extraordinary and rare while a coach and a calash (barouche) are exhibits to be really proud of. The first wooden Catholic church in Dagda was built in 1705, while the church that is seen today was built in the Baroque style during the latter half of the 18th century, the work financed by a local nobleman.  Important interior elements include the altar, the pulpit, the organ, a monument to the Hilsen dynasty, etc.  To the North of the church is historical Dagda itself, with typical red brick buildings from the early 20th century that are known as the former homes of Jewish merchants.

Guest house "Aivari" is located in a quiet forest in Inčukalns region. Offers rest in a country sauna, after the sauna it is possible to use a shower, cool off in the pool, also a swim in the spring pond and a wooden tub. There are tent sites, a picnic area with awnings, a volleyball net and several campfire sites.

This is one of few open air objects to honour the globally unique Baltic Way demonstration, during which several million residents of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia joined hands in an unbroken chain that stretched from Tallinn all the way to Vilnius.  The monument is at the former border crossing point at Unguriņi on the border between Latvia and Estonia, and it was installed on the 20th anniversary of the demonstration on August 23, 2009.  It was designed by the metal artist Andris Dukurs.
