Pēc 2. pasaules kara to atsavināja draudzei, bet torni – uzspridzināja, dievnamā ierīkojot noliktavu. 20. gs. deviņdesmitajos gados draudze uzsāka baznīcas atjaunotni un tagad tā kalpo savam pamatmērķim.

 A memorial room to Pauls Stradiņš is found at Raiņa Street 14 in Viesīte. A memorial plaque on the green wooden house tells us that the distinguished Latvian surgeon, academician and professor Pauls Stradiņš (1896-1958) lived there from 1902 until 1914. The exhibits relate to Stradiņš and his family. Right now the room is closed to visitors, and it is planned that during the tourism season of 2013, its contents will be displayed at the former Viesīte school at Peldu Street 2.

Latgale Farmstead „Mežmalas”. The owners of the farmstead created an interesting collection of the old household items, tools and equipment of the 19th and 20th century. Ķekavas novadā, Daugmales pagastā atrodas jauka atpūtas vieta - Lejas ezers. Ezeram var apiet apkārt, taka nav marķēta un iešana ir pa mazām meža taciņām. Slapjākā laikā taciņas vietām var būt mitras un dubļainas. Pastaiga aizņems aptuveni stundu. Pie ezera ir iekārtotas vairākas piknika vietas.

Lodes muižas ēkas izvietojušās t.s. Lodes – Taurenes subglaciālās iegultnes (cauri tek Gauja) austrumu nogāzē. Muižas apbūve tapusi 19. gs. pirmajā pusē, bet kungu māju (klasicisma stils) cēla 1815. g. Pēdējie īpašnieki, kas šeit saimniekoja (līdz 1939. g.) – bija Šmidtu dzimta. Mūsdienās muižas pilī vasarās dzīvo LU Ģeogrāfijas un Zemes zinātņu fakultātes studenti, kuriem šeit ir lauku prakšu norises vieta. Kungu māja apskatāma no ārpuses.
