Catering

The saloon is in the former home of the governor of the Koknese Estate. It is named after the Latvian author Rūdolfs Blaumanis, who studied at the estate and lived there for two years. There is an outdoor terrace, and it is possible to hold celebrations there.

Latvian cuisine: Potato salad, herring salad, bean salad Valmiera salad, beef with onions, pork ribs, homemade steak haché, roast beef with horseradish sauce, baked liver, herring with cottage cheese, oatmeal dessert.

Special foods: “Saloonkeeper’s slice”.

Café Roomassaare is located near Kuressaare, providing a picturesque view of the Roomassaare yacht pier. In the summer season, the café mostly prepares dishes from local products, offering both locals and tourists a simple and clean combination of local flavours. A lot of fish as well!

The Dzīļu bakery in Malnava is a symbol of Krāslava and it is located next to the Malnava manor park. The lady of the house prepare hearty Lettigalian dishes and other country goodies. In the bakery the owner bakes different types of bread, for example, rye-bread, sweet-and sour bread, as well as makes cakes on pre-order. She also offers to groups and families to bake bread, pies, cakes or pizzas together. The tasting and Latgalian dishes in nowadays’style. A walk around the park of Malnava manor and stories about the white gate. Local bread is famous in Kārsava. The bakery offers brunch on weekends, as well as markets of local crafts and other products.
Latvian cuisine: Lettigalian bacon, pearl barley porridge with side dishes, potatoes stuffed with bacon and onions, sautéed vegetables with meat, berry bread, tea with honey.
Special foods: Local Dzīļi bread with bran, raisins, cranberry jam and linen seed.

The café is alongside the Rēzekne castle hill and the “Zeimuļs” creative services centre of Eastern Latvia (built in September 2012). A lovely interior design and a look at historical objects form Rēzekne are part of the café. It is named after the Rositten fortress that was built here by the master of the Livonian Order in the 13th century. Meals are offered throughout the day, and various foods and baked goods are for sale.

Located in Vihula Manor Country Club&Spa complex, in the historical Ice Cellar, a rustic Estonian countryside tavern, is seating up to 100 guests on 2 floors. The tavern is featuring limestone walls decorated with old farm tools, wooden beams, waitresses in traditional Estonian customs, Estonian folklore music, traditional Estonian countryside cuisine based on natural and ecologically balanced produce and a large selection of beer and ale. The tavern offers traditional Estonian buffet lunch and dinner specifically designed for groups and also the possibility to book a folkloric dance show or traditional Estonian live music.
