Second meeting in the project "RuralTour: A training programme for sustainable rural tourism"

The project “RuralTour: A training programme for sustainable rural tourism” team met on 28th of May for the second meeting. It was planned to be in Bucharest, Rumania coordinated by the Bucharest University of Economic Studies but due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions meeting was held via Zoom platform.
At the beginning all partners presented rural tourism sector reports for their countries. After that the Romanian team did the interview with the president of Romanian National Association of Rural Tourism (ANTREC) as well as presented one rural tourism destination near Bucharest. The partners discussed the next steps in the project like development of curriculum and training material that can be used for education and training in rural tourism and also things related to project management.
All project partners really hope that they will be able to travel and to meet each other face to face in the next meeting in Almeria, Spain early next year.
