The boat "Gulbis" goes on trips along the Daugava, revealing the history of Koknese and Likteņdārzs, the stories of the Daugava, and will become a witness to today's story. It invites you to go along, enjoy, explore, remember, dream and relax, rinsing the waves of the Daugava, in complete peace, enjoying the sounds of nature and the stories of an audio guide. The boat can accommodate up to 20 guests on board. Route: Likteņdārzs - Koknese Lutheran Church - Koknese Castle Ruins - Perse River - Likteņdārzs Amphitheater - Likteņdārzs. The boat can also be booked for events such as birthdays, weddings, etc. Flight times can be viewed and tickets can be purchased on the website, as well as on board. |

DabaLaba is in one of the places in Latvia that has the very lowest population density per square kilometre. There are huge forests around our venue with lots of animals, clean rivers and lovely forest lakes. DabaLaba launched operations in 2010 by renting boats. The next season we set up an archery range and started to offer guided tours of the surrounding environment – hikes, safari trips down the forest roads of the “Ance Swamps and Forests” restricted area, interesting, merry and lovely moments outdoors, hunting with your camera, as well as special trips for schoolchildren. Boats and SUP boards can be rented in Irbe, Rinda, Stende, Engure and Lonaste (or elsewhere on the basis of a separate agreement). Since August 2018, DabaLaba has offered the restaurant #Mežā during the summer months. It is in the centre of the forest and offers pure, tasty and healthy dishes made of local ingredients and no preservatives or additives. The menu has dishes for vegetarians and vegans, as well as dishes with no gluten and no lactose. We also have a country sauna where two people can spend the night after taking their sauna.

A biological farm in the lovely nature park of the Ogre River valley. You can tour the farm to see how biological cattle from the Charolais breed are bred. Walk down our nature trails to watch cows grazing in the fields. Visit the little Akmeņupīte stream and the large oak trees that are in the area. You can see the rapids of the Ogre River and, in the spring, broad fields of ramsons. The venue offers tastings of its products, and you can also purchase meat to take along with you. |

Guests have access to three two-person glamping tents in a unique place in the Veclaicene Parish, which is right by the border between Latvia and Estonia. The tents are well-equipped with a hardwood bed with a comfortable mattress, two pillows, two large blankets, bed linens, two towels, two duvets, a chest for visitors’ things, two easy chairs on a terrace, and a little table with a bench. Each tent is hooked up to electricity, with available plugs and lights. The territory has a common-use summer kitchen with three lavatories. Spend some time glamping, and you’ll feel the healing power of nature, relax from your everyday rhythm, watch the country landscape, enjoy yourself and your partner or friend. You can go for walks, rent bikes, swim in the pond, sunbathe, enjoy a jacuzzi, grill, and read books from the Muuski community library. |

Das Schloss von Bīriņi ist von 1857 bis 1860 als der Besitz der Grafen von Pistolkors gebaut worden. Das neogotische Schloss wurde von dem Architekten aus Riga Friedrich Wilhelm Hess projektiert. Man kann Informationen darüber finden, dass nach dem Bau des Schlosses es das prachtvollste und modernste Historismus-Gebäude in der Region Vidzeme war. Den Schlosskomplex bilden ein großer Park und ein Waldpark aus dem 19. Jh. mit Anpflanzungen von ausländischen Pflanzenarten, der künstlich gebildete See Bīriņu ezers, die im Jahr 1814 gebaute Gruft mit dem Grabstein der Grafen von Mellin (um 1835), eine Wassermühle, das Haus des Verwalters, Pferdeställe und andere Gebäude. An dem Schloss sind Obelisken aufgestellt, die A. Pistolkors und N. Pistolkors gewidmet sind. Bis heute hat sich in dem Schloss die wertvolle dekorative Innenausstattung aus dem 19. Jh. erhalten. Das Schloss von Bīriņi wurde am Anfang des 20. Jhs. laut den Plänen des Architekten Rudolf Heinrich Zirkwitz umgebaut. Von 1926 bis 1995 befand sich in dem Schloss ein Sanatorium. Heute werden in dem Schlosskomplex verschiedene Veranstaltungen organisiert, hier befinden sich ein Hotel, ein Restaurant und ein Museum. |

Eines der ersten Häuser in Kolka, 1,2 km vom Kap Kolka entfernt, das der nördlichste Punkt in Kurland ist und die Ostsee von der Bucht von Riga trennt. Hier wird die Vorbereitung des traditionellen nordkurländischen süßen Gerichtes – Sklandrauši – gezeigt, sowie eine Führung für Fußgänger Spaziergang in die industrielle Geschichte von Kolka mit theatralischen Elementen und eine Verkostung der besten Sprotten aus Lettland angeboten. Ab Ende August wird hier die Möglichkeit angeboten, Sanddorne zu sammeln und zu verkosten, sowie den gesunden Saft aus diesen Beeren zu kaufen. Ab Ende April bis Anfang Juni kann man hier eine Sammlung von Tulpen (> 200 Sorten) besichtigen und deren Knollen kaufen. |

Die Wirte haben das Gebäude der Mühle (1875 gebaut) erhalten, indem jetzt ein Museum eingerichtet ist. Dieser Ort ist mit Angeboten für Hochzeitstraditionen bekannt. Gäste können Fische in dem Mühlenteich fischen und sie auch selber vorbereiten. While in some European countries natural bogs have almost disappeared, you will be able to enjoy walks full of silence in pristine bogs in Latvia. No cars, people, bells and whistles surrounding you. It is the best antidepressant in the world and a great place to recharge. Bogshoes are like snowshoes – except you wear them in bogs when there is no snow. Bogshoes have been used to walk on wetlands throughout the times. These footwear allow us access to the places where it is hard or even impossible to reach by foot. |

It is possible to see Latvian dark-headed sheep, learn about the specifics of their breeding, lifestyle and sheepmen branch in Latvia. In addition to the sheep, it is possible to see different birds – turkeys, gees, ducks, chicken and pearl chicken. On the farm there is also situated the Star Space observatory where during the ~ two-hour-long visit you will hear simply presented stories about stars, planets and other topics.After the lecture, outside, in fresh air you will be able to put the acquired knowledge to use, by trying to spot some constellations – how to find them, how they look like, etc. After you learn about constellations, you can observe them in the observatory’s powerful telescope which is open to public use. |

Eines der ersten Unternehmen, das angefangen hat, großfrüchtige Moosbeeren und Heidelbeeren in Lettland (seit 1997) zu züchten. Im Moor von Kalni, wo früher Torf gewonnen wurde, wachsen Moosbeeren, Heidelbeeren, Himbeeren und Erdbeeren. Besucher können Beeren sammeln, verkosten und kaufen, sowie an Führungen teilnehmen. Es ist empfehlenswert, die Produktionsabteilung des Unternehmens Very Berry (ungefähr in 3 km Entfernung – in Dārzciems) zu besuchen, wo Säfte, Sirupe und Getränke hergestellt werden! |
