Wir werden Sie in Vilnius willkommen heißen und eine Stadtbesichtigung unternehmen. Am nächsten Tag fahren wir nach Kaunas, um Fachleute zu treffen und eine Stadtbesichtigung zu machen. Auf dem Weg nach Riga besichtigen wir die malerische Burg Trakai, die sich auf einem See befindet. In Panevezys treffen wir einen professionellen Apfelzüchter. In Riga besichtigen wir die Altstadt und den eindrucksvollen Zentralmarkt. In Bauska besuchen wir einen Hof, der ein Spezialist für Einführungen von Innovationen in der Wirtschaft (Getreide, Gemüse, Kartoffeln) ist. Auf dem Weg nach Tallinn besuchen wir die Stadt Sigulda und die mittelalterliche Burg Turaida, aus der sich eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf das Urstromtal des Flusses Gauja bietet. In Tallinn erwartet Sie eine Führung durch die schmalen gepflasterten Straßen der Altstadt und danach der Besuch einer Molkerei in Saku, dem das Treffen mit dem Verein der Höfe Estlands und der Besuch eines Hofes für Vieh- und Getreidezucht in der Nähe von Tallinn folgt.

The trail climbs up and down along the bluffs of lower River Pilsupe and reveals a fascinating sight of three white dune exposures (the largest is called the White Dune). The dune range has formed in the period of the Littorina Sea several thousands of years ago. The time required to walk the trail is ~0.3 h. Evidence of Stone Age settlements have been found in the vicinity.

Das Restaurant befindet sich an der Küste der Rigaer Bucht, zwischen der Straße VIA Baltica (A1) und der Ostsee, auf dem Gelände des Erholungskomplexes Kapteiņu osta, die von den Küstenwiesen (Randu pļavas) eingeschlossen werden. Sommerterrasse mit schönen Sonnenuntergängen.

Lettische Küche: Kalte Rote-Beete-Suppe, Kartoffeln mit Quark und Hering, geräucherter Aal, im Ofen gebackener Wels, gebratener Zander in Hanfbutter, Quarkfladen, Erdbeersuppe.

Das besondere Gericht: Fischsuppe.

Einer der ausgeprägten Kaps der lettischen Küste mit Niederungsauen und einem in 1875 gebauten Leuchtturm.

Before its flooding, the canyon of the Daugava River between Pļaviņas and Koknese was one of the most outstanding and beautiful parts of the Baltic terrain, and Oliņkalns hill was one of the largest castle hills in Latvia.  The Andrejs cliff as up to 20 metres high, and it was part of the Daugava canyon.  Before the area was flooded because of the construction of the Pļaviņas hydroelectric power plant, there were rapids near the hill that made it hard for rafters to sail down the river.  Today it is a small island in the reservoir of the plant (it can be seen from the side of the Rīga-Daugavpils highway (A6) opposite Stukmaņi).  It is separated from the shore by 300 metres of river, under which the Dūņas valley is now resting.  A small part of the ramparts of the castle hill can still be seen on the island along with the ruins of an open-air stage and a few metres of the dolomite cliff that have remained above water.  It is thought that the Alene castle was on the hill in the 13th century.  Latvian mountain climbers installed a memorial stone in 1998 opposite Oliņkalns hill.

Meklējama Gosporos, starp Rīgas – Daugavpils šoseju (A 6) un Daugavu. Apjomā nelielais dievnams būvēts 1820. gadā romāņu stilā no laukakmeņiem senas kapsētas vietā. Tuvāk Daugavai ir izveidota aka, no kuras iztek Svētavots, kam piedēvē dziednieciskas īpašības. Pie baznīcas novietots dobumakmens.

In 1888, the building, provided for a doctor’s needs, was donated by Baron Alexander Alexei von Pistohlkors to the parish of Pēterupe Lutheran Church. Along with the building, Baron Pistohlkors also donated 6 hectares of land and 10 000 roubles for the doctor’s use. Arvēds von Engelhards became the first medical doctor in Pēterupe. In 1890, the first pharmacy was opened in one room of the clinic, serving people from a wide area; it remained in the building until 1895. This outpatient clinic was the very first stone building in Saulkrasti, the first health authority in a wide area, as well as the first pharmacy. Through its entire lifetime, the house was maintained from voluntary donations – at first by Alexander Alexei von Pistohlkors, then by churchgoers of Pēterupe Parish – therefore by the money of the villagers.
This house also played a role as the place of establishment of the Saulkrasti development society, which was actively supported by many celebrities such as the opera singer Herberts Ozolītis, actresses Tija Banga, Mirdza Šmithene, Lilija Štengele and Malda Gruzevska, composer Alfrēds Kalniņs and many other cultural professionals, artists and writers of that time, who used to spend summers in Saulkrasti. In 1933, the parish converted the outpatient clinic for the needs of a school.
Saulkrasti Primary School was transferred to the building of the former outpatient clinic.

Varniku mežā (Varnikų miškas) ir izveidota patiesi interesanta dabas izziņas taka, kas iet cauri dažādiem biotopiem – skujkoku un ozolu mežiem, purvainu mežu un sūnu purvu ar akačiem un nelieliem purva ezeriņiem, kur uzceltas divas skatu platformas. Mitrajās vietās un purvā ir izveidotas koka laipas. Šī ir populāra pastaigu vieta. Taka ir lokveida un marķēta. Tās apskatei būs nepieciešama ~ pusotra stunda.
