The recreation complex "Pazust Priedēs" is a newly created recreation area in the village of Bernāti - a 7-minute walk from the beach. Two holiday homes are available for recreation - "Saulrieta" and "Saullēta" houses and a separate bathhouse. Each holiday home has a separate bedroom, an equipped kitchen and a loft floor with additional sleeping places. The recreation complex can accommodate up to 12 people in total. Picnic areas are available near each house and in the territory. SPA services are offered with sauna sessions and a selection of essential oils, with mental health improvement options and meditative tools. An outdoor hot tub is available. Retreats are organized during the summer season, and meditative/exploratory books are available in each house. |

A collection of peonies in the garden in Ķesterciems which is just 300 metres from the sea. The collection has been put together over the course of many years, with some that were first grafted in the 18th century and others that are completely new varieties. Each year the range is supplemented, with a bit more than 800 different kinds right now. Peony blossoms are at their peak attractiveness around mid-June. |

Brantu manor is located in Smiltene county, Brantu parish. The manor was built in the 19th century, currently it is managed by Ilze Briede, who is a well-known bread baker in Latvia, and Nauris Zutis - the owner of "Pirts skola" ("Sauna school"). |

Der Hof „Vilki“ ist Arboretum und Baumschule zugleich, gelegen inmitten der landwirtschaftlich geprägten Landschaft Semgallens in der Gemeinde Svete. Den Besuchern werden Führungen durch das Arboretum und das Territorium des Hofs geboten, wo man 1000 Pflanzen der verschiedensten Arten und Herkunft besichtigen kann. Gezüchtet werden Zierbäume und Ziersträucher, mehrjährige Blumen, Heil- und Gewürzpflanzen. Es gibt einen alten Obstgarten, wo die alten Apfelsorten und andere entsprechend gekennzeichnet sind. Zudem wird Beratung bei der Grünflächengestaltung geboten. Auf dem Hof kann man auch die alte Rasse der Lettischen Blauen Kühe antreffen. Für Besucher steht hier ein Picknickplatz zur Verfügung. |

The “Pie Daugavas” glamping site is on land which has been passed down from generation to generation on the banks of the Daugava River and on the boundary between Jaunjelgava and Sērene. There are eight furnished glamping tents to rest in comfort on the banks of the river. The tents are 5m wide and 3m high, with carpeting to soothe your feet, a comfortable mattress that will ensure comfort for your back, as well as an easy chair into which you can sink with a book in hand. Electricity and WIFI will keep you linked to the outer world. You can reserve a Latvian-made jacuzzi with a wood-fired internal stove and installed hydro-massage and LED lighting. A spherical cupola tent with 65 m2 is also available. A new aspect at the tent in the summer of 2023 was a series of concerts on the banks of the Daugava. |

Die Bauernwirtschaft "Liepas” die sich in Dobele befindet ist eine dynamisch wachsende Pflanzenzucht, die sich auf Obstbäume, Beerensträucher und Rosenpflanzen spezialisiert. Im Angebot steht ein umfangreiches Angebot an selbst gezüchteten, qualitativen, den lettischen Klimabedingungen angepassten Obstbaum-, Rosen- und Beerenstrauchmaterial. Den Besuchern werden die Pflanzen in Containern sowie der Kennenlerngarten gezeigt, wo man sehen kann, wie der kleine Obstbaum erwachsen aussieht. Im Frühling kann man im Garten die Blütezeit genießen, und im Sommer und Herbst Kirschen, Pflaumen, Äpfel und Birnen kosten. Die pflanzen kann man auch kaufen.

Am Fuß vom Ludzas Schlossberg befindet sich ein Handwerkerzentrum. Es lädt euch ein auf eine Führung über die Handwerkergeschichte und Traditionen im altertümlichen Latgale kennenzulernen, die alten Handwerke in dem Suprādku Zimmer zu erschließen und in den Keramik-, Web- und Schneiderwerkstätten mitzumachen. Im Ausstellungssaal haben Sie die Möglichkeit die Werke der Meister der Umgebung zu sehen, sowie den allmonatlichen, letgallischen Grünen Markt zu besuchen. Im Salon können sie ca. 70 Arbeiten der Handwerker kaufen. Sie haben auch die Möglichkeit die Volkstrachten aller lettischen Regionen, Leinen und Wollbekleidung zu bestellen. Vorher angemeldete Ausflugsgruppen haben die Möglichkeit lettgallische Speisen zu kosten. Lettische Küche: Graue Erbsen mit gebratenem Speck (Škvarkas), Brötchen Asuškas in Sauerrahmsoße, lettgallische Teigringe und das lettgallische Hausbranntwein Šmakovka. The farm specialises in summer and autumn raspberries, but it also grows quince, honeysuckle, mulberry, rhubarb and various seasonal vegetables. Owners of the farm began to offer informative and interactive tours in 2023. Learn how the farm is run, what it bases its work on, and how it ensures bio-economics and a circulation economy. You’ll also learn details about how to grow and pick raspberries. A special mood is created by a cupola tent at the farm which offers visitors a chance to enjoy and unrivalled surrounding landscape. The watermill of the Krape Estate is found on the Lobe River in the Ogre Administrative District. Owners offer tours of the mill so that you can learn how the old mill operates. You can stroll along the banks of the river or learn about plants in the meadow. There are places for tenting, but the main operation here is the production of elixirs from meadow plants, production of soy wax candles, production of etheric oils and hydrolats, a well as growing trout and African catfish that can be viewed during the season. A new thing is SPA services with floating, a halotherapy salt beach and an aromatherapy steam system. Floating is a unique way to boost your health. You’ll be dipped into a warm magnesium salt solution, which will allow your body to relax completely in physical, emotional and intellectual terms. The solution (MgSO4) is very concentrated, and it has a temperature of +37C, which is body temperature. That’s what makes the procedure so relaxing. Your body will not sink because of the concentration of salt, and you will float above it like bobber. You will relax all of your tendons and possibly compressed nerves. Your limbs will “oil up.” Your body will receive a very necessary dose of magnesium through your skin. You can also take part in baking KrapesKrepes crepes – home baked crepes made of milk from one neighbouring homestead and eggs from another neighbouring homestead. This is a place for leisure in Mazirbe along the Livonian shore. It is part of the Slītere National Park, and the venue welcomes solo travellers, families and groups of friends. There are six buildings which can accommodate up to 50 people – rooms for one, two or three visitors, as well as one room for 12 visitors. A new service building has a lavatory, shower and kitchen. Sauna services are available. Strautmaļi also has a banquet hall with a fireplace, an amazing collection of teaspoons, a library of books for all tastes, as well as beautiful paintings. The centre of Mazirbe is 3 km away, the sea is 2 km away. Silence, a pine forest, mushrooms, cranes. The venue is open from May 20 until September 3. The price is EUR 40 per night for two people. |
