Die Töpferin bietet Kurse an, bei denen man selbst Erzeugnisse aus Ton kreieren und diese brennen kann. In der Werkstatt sind sowohl Kindergartengruppen und Schulklassen willkommen als auch Erwachsene und Senioren. Die Töpferin hat auch Erfahrung im Umgang mit Behinderten. In der Töpferwerkstatt kann man fertige Erzeugnisse kaufen.

These meadows are of distinction because of the curvy Slampe River, which has caused a gradual recovery of damp meadows, complete with species of plants and animals that are typical of such areas.  Domestic animals adapted for life in the wild can be seen here, and a bird watching tower on the location will offer you an excellent opportunity to view them.  You can get to the meadows via a narrow corridor known as the Melnragu throat.  The gravel road will lead to a hillock called Kurgāns from which you can have an excellent view of the surrounding landscape.

Ezerā un tā apkārtnē sastopamas vairāk nekā 200 putnu sugu. Putnu vērotāju ērtībām vienā no Kaņiera ezera pussalām uzcelts putnu vērošanas tornis. Netālu no putnu vērošanas torņa izveidota koka laipa uz pontoniem, kura stiepjas cauri niedrāju audzei. Kaņiera ezers izceļas ar lielu daudzums zivju – tajā konstatētas gandrīz 20 zivju sugu. Izsens zvejnieku ciems - Lapmežciems atrodas skaistā vietā uz šauras zemes strēles starp Kaņiera ezeru un Rīgas jūras līci. Lapmežciemā izveidots zvejnieku muzejs, kuru var apmeklēt ekskursijas laikā, kā arī nobaudīt svaigi kūpinātas zivis.

One of the largest castles in Kurzeme, this building has been preserved in fairly good shape.  Work on its began in the mid-13th century, and it was commissioned by the heads of the Dome Cathedral in Rīga.  In 1434, the estate was bought by the bishop of Kurzeme.  The Maidel and Osten-Sacken dynasties owned it from the 16th to the 20th century.  The Dundaga Castle burned down twice and has been rebuilt many times.  The last reconstruction was in 1905, after the castle was burned down during the revolution.  Of interest on both sides of the castle’s door are stone carvings of a knight and a bishop.  In recent years, the hotel in the castle has been renovated, as has the second floor hallway and a terrace that is popular for weddings.  There are many legends about the castle, including one about a wedding of elves and another about the Green Lady.  Today the building houses the Dundaga School of Music and Art, a hotel, party rooms, the Dundaga Tourism Information Centre and various exhibitions.  It is worth finding a guide to tour the castle.  Groups of tourists can also order tastings of local foods.

The farmstead grows apples, strawberries, black currants, red currants, etc., berries and fruits; there is a big selection of processed goods: natural juices, nectars and syrups. Die Mosterei befindet sich in einem alten Steingebäude neben den Ruinen der Burg des Livländischen Ordens. In der Nähe der Mosterei sind experimentelle Apfelplantagen angelegt, aber die Äpfel – hauptsächlich alte sowjetische Sorten - kauft die Cidre-Mosterei Mūrbūdu von örtlichen Betrieben.
