Transformative Approaches for Sustainable Food in Tourism (TASTE)

Цели проекта

The TASTE Project (Transformative approaches for sustainable food in tourism) is funded by the European Commission under the Single Market Programme (SMP) with a mission dedicated to promoting a transformative change in the realm of sustainability, digitalisation, and resilience at the crossroads of food and tourism. The project gathers partners from 6 European countries: Spain, Belgium, Italy, Germany Latvia and Slovenia.

Project goals:

  • Identify and promote innovative and replicable solutions in food management and food tourism.
  • Equip and empower key tourism stakeholders and actors in connected ecosystems (e.g. agri-food, culture, social economy).
  • Facilitate capacity-building, training, and advisory services for tourism SMEs.
  • Support the development and implementation of collaborative, sustainable, and innovative projects in food tourism.

Результаты проекта

Key outcomes:

  • A strong European network of food tourism stakeholders for knowledge exchange and cooperation.
  • Improved food management practices among tourism SMEs through sustainable sourcing, food waste reduction, and circular economy solutions.
  • New business models and tourism offers (e.g., culinary tours, local food experiences, cooking classes).
  • Strengthened links with rural and remote regions through collaboration with local producers and artisans.

  • EU contribution (SMP): €324,916.50
