The excessively damp forests at this place include the Vēršupīte River bog, and this is one of the most diverse biotopes in Latvia in terms of the number of species that can be found here.  The fact that the area is regularly flooded is shown by the fat roots of black alders – indeed, the place looks like a stand of mangroves.  The wooden pathway that is the Dumbrāju trail starts at the Forest House for those who wish to examine the bog.  The most impressive views are seen during spring floods or rainy seasons at other times of the year.  The little river breaks out of its bed and floods a large territory.  The Lake Sloka hiking trail is another place where you can study the Vēršupīte bog.  The circular trail is 3 km long, and its beginning is at the Lake Sloka bird watching tower.

Народный дом расположен в здании, построенном в середине 18-го века, в котором находился трактир. Для сохранения этого более чем 135-летнего здания культурно-исторического наследия в 2011 году в нем были проведены масштабные реставрационные работы. Atrodas Līvānu ziemeļdaļā, Baznīcas ielā 17. Dievnams uzbūvēts 1861. g. un paplašināts 1880. gadā. Pēc nopostīšanas 1. pasaules kara laikā to atjaunoja 1918. gadā. No interjera ievērības cienīgas ir ērģeles (uzstādītas 1936. g.), glezna „Svētais Jānis Kristītājs” (mākslinieks Šēnbergs) un 14 Krusta ceļa gleznas, kas ir vācu mākslinieka Fogela gleznu kopijas (19. gs. pirmā puse). Kopš 20. gadsimta sākuma bez izmaiņām ir saglabājies tikai Ostrabramas Dievmātes altāris ēkas labajā pusē. 2007. gadā nokrāsoja dievnama fasādi. Šo darbu laikā, no ēkas sienas izņēma nesprāgušu artilērijas lādiņu, kas bija iestrēdzis 1. pasaules kara laikā.

The ancient Abava River Valley between Kandava and the place where the river flows into the Venta River is the most expressive river valley segment in Kurzeme in terms of landscape and terrain. The valley is 30 to 40 metres deep and as much as 300 metres wide. The territory is distinguished by great diversity of a biological nature (more than 800 kinds of plants), featuring many different biotopes and natural monuments such as streams, waterfalls, cliffs, huge rocks, and many cultural and historical monumentssmall towns such as Kandava and Sabile. In both cases, the town centres are national monuments of urban construction. Popular tourist destinations include Vīnakalns hill in Sabile, where wine-making grapes are grown, as well as the open-air art museum at Pedvāle. To protect cultural treasures, a cultural and historical territory, “Abava River Valley” has been established. Wild livestock live at Drubazas and Tēvkalni to “maintain” the landscape. There are nature trails for tourists, and the Abava is the most popular river for water tourists in Kurzeme. An important complex of the coastline and its sand dunes along with the mouths of three major rivers – the Lielupe, the Daugava and the Gauja. This area has ancient traditions of recreation and spa services. The territory has lovely shoreline landscapes and features one of the few coastline meadows in Latvia. The nature park includes several restricted areas – the meadows of the Lielupe estuary, Vakarbuļļi, Daugavgrīva, Vecdaugava and Ummis (see the section on “Restricted Natural Areas”). Interesting elements of nature in this area include the amphitheatre of the Garciems dunes, along with individual dunes such as the Legzdiņi dune and the so-called ski mountain dune. Visitors will be attracted by various cultural and historical monuments – fortifications on the Mangaļi peninsula, military buildings from the period of the Russian tsars all the way through the late period of the Soviet occupation, the fortress of Daugavgrīva, the Vecāķi spa with its old shoreline buildings, and the beaches at Daugavgrīva and Vecāķi. The proximity of the city of Rīga and various important recreational resources are the reason for the massive anthropogenic burden that is placed on this territory. The nature park is appropriate for active tourism (hiking, bicycling, boating, driving), distance skiing, nature and bird-watching, cultural tourism, passive leisure and educational tourism. There are nature trails at Daugavgrīva and the Rožu dunes, along with other elements of infrastructure.

A comparatively large swamp to the North of the Zaļā dune, this is an important place for sulphurous waters, just as is the case with Zaļais swamp.  The swamp is cut in two by the 3.5 km Ķemeri-Antiņciems road, from which interesting landscapes can be seen.  The road is not appropriate for cars, however.  To the East of Raganu swamp is Lake Putnezers, which is difficult to access.  There is a small car park with an information stand on the shore of Lake Melnezers alongside the Ķemeri-Jaunķemeri road.  The historical and overgrown Old Ķemeri road can be used to get to the seashore from this location.

На берегу озера Моосте расположена мыза Моосте. Рядом с красивым главным зданием  находится гордость мызы Моосте - величественный приусадебный комплекс, выполненный в стиле историзма. Особое настроение придает мызе парк в английском стиле. В главном здании мызы работает школа, в реновированной бывшей деревообрабатывающей мастерской мызы открыт Гостевой дом усадьбы Моосте, в бывшей конюшне работает мастерская реставраторов, в барском доме - Центр художественной и социальной практики и из бывшего хлева получился концертный зал.
