Вкусить пищу можно в старинном Рыцарском обеденном зале под сводчатыми потолками, при свечах и звуки средневековой музыки. Без столовых приборов или деревянными ложками можно отведать средневековые угощения во вкусе барона, монаха или слуг. Латышская кухня: Чечевичный суп с мясными фрикадельками, пивной суп, яблочный суп с изюмом, толченый горох с коноплей, тминная тушенка („шморис”) в горшочке, лисички в сметанном соусе, колбаски из дичи с капустой, рулька (жареная свиная голень), кровяная колбаса, жареная нога утки с брусничные соусом, ручейная форель, домашний творог с клубникой, сливовый кисель с взбитыми сливками. The “Rozītes” rose garden is found in the Sēme Parish in Kurzeme, and it covers a bit less than 3 hectares. There are more than 3,000 rose plants in the garden with 300 different varieties. There are also perennials and rare trees in the garden. Visitors will enjoy three lovely ponds which have fish in them, but they are meant more for beauty and relaxation. You can watch the fish from the terrace, walk across a flower island, and go to our amphitheatre to listen to relaxing music. On a hot summer day, visit the “water rock” to hear the bubbling sound of the surrounding water. Daila and Bruno Trubiņš will be happy to give you a tour of the garden and tell you all about the plants and how to care for them. You can purchase rose and perennial plants. Each June we organise a Rose Festival with an extensive programme for adults and children alike. Visitors are welcome to taste rose jam and drinks made of rose petals. We can host seminars, concerts, weddings and photo sessions. The garden is open from May until the end of September, and we particularly welcome visitors when the flowers are in full bloom. В хозяйстве из айвы делают цукаты, мармелад, сиропы и другую продукцию. Во время сезона можно купить яйца и кур. На полях и лугах «Яуниевини» с 2002 года пасутся дикие лошади, которых можно осмотреть в сопровождении гида. |

The “Pie Daugavas” glamping site is on land which has been passed down from generation to generation on the banks of the Daugava River and on the boundary between Jaunjelgava and Sērene. There are eight furnished glamping tents to rest in comfort on the banks of the river. The tents are 5m wide and 3m high, with carpeting to soothe your feet, a comfortable mattress that will ensure comfort for your back, as well as an easy chair into which you can sink with a book in hand. Electricity and WIFI will keep you linked to the outer world. You can reserve a Latvian-made jacuzzi with a wood-fired internal stove and installed hydro-massage and LED lighting. A spherical cupola tent with 65 m2 is also available. A new aspect at the tent in the summer of 2023 was a series of concerts on the banks of the Daugava. |

The Saulgriezes guesthouse is near Bernāte with 10 flats of different types and sizes. There is a pine forest near the guesthouse, and the beach is 500 m away. Guests have access to a playground for children, as well as a place for campfires. The flats are appropriate for families with children, business trips, or leisure alone, as a couple or with a group of friends. All of the flats have sleeping areas with bed linens, a leisure zone, a dining area and a kitchen where light meals can be prepared. The kitchen has a refrigerator, a stove, an electric tea kettle, an oven surface, dishes and utensils. Guests also have access to a bathroom with a shower, hair dryer, slippers, towels, lavatory items and hygienic items. There are televisions in the flats, along with free WIFI and a private parking spot for cars. The territory also has a sauna with a leisure area, as well as a banquet room for approximately 60 guests. |

The “Mīlmaņi” guesthouse is on the banks of the Gauja River in Ranka. The venue is cosy for family celebrations and events for up to 50 participants. The main building has five bedrooms. A summer home is available for as many as 30 people, with a sauna, a black Sauna and, on the banks of the Gauja, a jacuzzi, as well as picnicking locations with grills. Swimming and boating are available. |

The family also manufactures garden furniture and hammocks. The buildings are surrounded by a beautiful park and a pond full of frogs and fishes. The surrounding landscape of the park with a pergola, a bridge, a forest and fields creates a very tranquil countryside atmosphere that can be experienced just a short drive away from the capital city. The hostess makes wines and offers tasting of different sorts. She also demonstrates cooking of traditional Latvian desserts. The place is also popular for weddings and post-wedding photo sessions. |
