Viens no lielākajiem Augštaitijas pilskalniem, kas 2011. g. pēc vērienīgiem rekonstrukcijas darbiem ir izzināms jaunā kvalitātē - gan no infrastruktūras, gan arī ainaviskā viedokļa, jo iepriekš biezais pamežs (tagad retināts) traucēja uztvert iespaidīgo objektu. Arī no pilskalna plakuma paveras labs skats uz diviem blakus esošajiem ezeriem. Tā virsotnē apskatāms piemiņas akmens, kas vēsta par pirmā Lietuvas valsts prezidenta Antana Smetona (Antanas Smetona) apmeklējumu 1934. g. viņa 60 gadu jubilejā. Pilskalns it ticis apdzīvots jau I tūkstošgadē pirms Kristus. Uzskata, ka 14. – 15. gs. te atradusies hronikās aprakstītā Linkmenu pils. Jaunizveidotā taka pilskalnu savieno ar vēl vienu populāru apskates objektu – Ladakalni.

Kadarbiku estate is located in Harju, in the municipality Saue, in the village Tula (Tuula). Agriculture started to work here in 1989, while the family company Kadarbiku Köögivili OÜ was established in 2004. Kadarbik farms specializes in growing and processing vegetables. The farm uses 500 hectares of land, which grows carrots, cabbage, beets and various summer crops. They also make juices and smoothies.

This is a new farm that produces cheese and waits for groups of visitors.  People can help to make cheese and taste and buy it.  Lejnieki won a prize as the most orderly working farm in the Valka Administrative District.

This is one of comparatively few castle hills along the banks of the Daugava River that is not overgrown with trees and bushes, which means that it has a classical castle hill form that is part of the local landscape.  The Dignāja castle hill was settled during several periods, particularly between the 5th and the 9th century AD, when it was an important centre.  Archaeologists have found that Lettigalian tribes lived here.  After the Holy Crusade invasion, the Livonian Order built a castle on the hill that has not survived.  It is said that there was once an underground passageway under the hill.  The hill itself offers a lovely view of the Daugava River valley.  World War I trenches have been preserved the area.  There was once a settlement at the foot of the hill.

Hiiu Vill is a family business and one of very few wool manufacturing companies in Estonia, it uses 19th C machinery of Polish origin (carding and roving machines), which the owners are happy to demonstrate. A café is open in summer only; woollen handicrafts are sold all year round.

The holiday houses are located near Lake Ieva, 30 m from the lake shore. On the 1st floor of the holiday house - lounge with fireplace and glazed veranda, sauna (50.00 EUR / evening), small kitchenette, toilet. Outside-small terrace overlooking the lake. On the 2nd floor there are 2 isolated rooms and 10 beds. By the lake - a fireplace, a well-groomed swimming area with a footbridge. Boats and catamarans can be rented.

The Eversmuiža Estate is in the centre of Cibla and is dominated by a 1680 mansion that was built in the style of Classicism and was rebuilt several times later.  There is a home for servants, a gatehouse and ancillary buildings that are in poor shape.  A stone wall surrounds the park of the estate.  Since the 17th century and for nearly two centuries, the estate belonged to an aristocratic Polish family, after it was owned by various others.  Today the mansion houses a boarding school and the Cibla Regional Research Museum, which offers tours.  A cultural and historical trail runs along the banks of the Ilža River.

The island of 7.5 km2 in Lake Peipsi is largely inhabited by Russian-speaking Old Believers who have broadly retained their old traditions through time. Traditional trades are fishing and growing vegetables, mainly onion.

The church is on the highest part of the banks of the Marku river, and it is behind the Piedruja border control point.  A paved street leads to the church, and it is thought that it was built in the early 20th century by local farmers, who were required to bring stones for the street when they attended worship services.  The church has six cupolas and is seen as one of the most beautiful ones in the Krāslava Administrative District.  The building was erected between 1883 and 1885 to replace an old 17th century wooden church.  It corresponds to the architectural form of the Old Russian town of Vladimir and the Byzantine style.  It is said that at one time the church had as many as 1,000 members.

Dievnams celts (1851. g.) un vēlāk (1876. g.) paplašināts. Tas tika sagrauts 2. Pasaules kara laikā un pēcāk atjaunots. Līdz Latvijas neatkarības atgūšanai to izmantoja par skolas sporta zāli. First the route goes to the birch juice and wine maker where you can taste this traditional and refreshing drink, then a goats farm where to taste various diary products and see the animals. Further on head to Sigulda with the Olympic Bobsled Track and three medieval castles located on the banks of the river Gauja - Sigulda, Turaida and Krimulda. There is also a good network of picturesque walking trails. Then explore historic village of Ligatne established around the Paper Mill and visit local craftmen located in one of the caves typical for the area. Cesis is charming town with mighty medieval castle ruins and New Castle. Visit hemp grower and try the hemp prepared traditional way. Enjoy Koni Mill where wool is processed with old fashioned machines and warm blankets are hand-made. Visit crafts studio at Staicele and try to spot the stork colony with more that 30 nests along the road. At Mazsalaca where there is a nature park with trails featuring beautiful steep sandbanks of the river Salaca. The river is also famous for its lampreys and further on the route you could see the weirs for traditional lamprey catching. At Saulkrasti walk the Dune trail and enjoy the beach. Further on visit cranberry swamps where you can taste healthy berry in some form depending of the season. Visit elegant Birini Manor with huge park and great restaurant and return to Riga.
