No Vecās pasta ēkas ir redzama Sv. Jāņa kolonna. Domājams, ka tā celta 17. gs. un sākotnēji kalpoja kā blakus esošā tirgus laukuma „ziņojumu vieta”. Vēlāk kolonnu pārdēvēja Sv. Jāņa - zvejnieku aizbildņa vārdā, jo daudziem Traķu apkārtnes iedzīvotājiem zveja bija ikdienas dzīves sastāvdaļa.

Der Baltische Küstenwanderweg führt durch das Naturschutzgebiet Nõva, in dem Sie eine wunderbare Aussicht auf die weißen und grauen Dünen haben. Die Strände sind beliebt zum Angeln und Kiteboarding. In Dirhami können Sie in eine Kneipe einkehren, von deren Terrasse Sie eine schöne Aussicht auf das Meer und den Hafen haben. Entlang des Wegs können Sie alte schwedische Dörfer mit unterschiedlicher kulturellen Umgebung und Landschaft sehen, als auch flache Seen, die sich von dem Meer abgetrennt haben.

The Krimulda Castle was built in the latter half of the 13th century.  It was located where the right bank of the ancient Gauja River valley is split by the deep Vikmeste ravine.  The castle was owned by the council of archbishops from Rīga, and it was an impressive structure with a large interior courtyard and a defensive wall that was 1.5 m thick.  The Swedish military blew up the castle when retreating in 1601.  Today the castle hill is forested, and only a small fragment of the castle wall can still be seen.  It is near the ruins that you will find the Sigulda aerial tram and the Krimulda serpentine road – the only object of its kind in the Baltic States.

Dieser Ort ist zwischen der Pīlādžu Straße und dem linken Ufer des Flusses Siliņupe zu suchen. Vom III. bis II. Jahrtausend v. Ch. befand sich hier eine Fischer- und Jägersiedlung, an deren Stelle heute ein Gedenkstein mit Information (Bildhauer Oļegs Skarainis) aufgestellt worden ist. Die Siedlung von Siliņupe ist der älteste bekannte Ort auf dem Gebiet des Nationalparks von Ķemeri, der von Menschen bewohnt war. Hier sind mehrere Altertümer gefunden worden: Scherben von Tongeschirren, Pfeilspitzen, Feuer- und Bernsteinteile u.a. Es ist möglich, dass auf dem Grundstück des Wohnhauses, das sich hier nebenan befindet, das Gräberfeld der Siedlung war. Ein kleiner Teil der Funde ist im Museum von Lapmežciems zu besichtigen, die anderen Funde befinden sich im Museum der Lettischen Geschichte.

In dem reizvoll gelegenen Hof, in dem die Landwirtschaft nach einer umweltfreundlichen Philosophie erfolgt, werden etwa 300 Bienenvölker gehalten. Zur Befriedigung der Bedürfnisse der Besucher gibt es einen Hofladen und einen Verkostungsraum. Auf dem Hof kann man Honig aus verschiedenen Blütentrachten kaufen, Pollen (als gesondertes Erzeugnis oder mit Honig vermischt), Propolis (als gesondertes Erzeugnis oder mit Honig vermischt), Bienenbrot, Wachskerzen und andere Souvenirs. Aug dem Hof werden Verkostungen veranstaltet, die auch Met umfassen, zudem gibt es Führungen.

The Northern breakwater of Liepāja is located n the Karosta area of the town. It offers a lovely place for perambulations, as well as an opportunity to observe the sea. To the South of the breakwater you will find a fine view of the Liepāja Freeport and its system of breakwaters. To the East is the unique Karosta area, while to the North, there are remnants of a sea fort. Please be very careful while observing the sea, however – the surface of the breakwater is not in great shape.

Adamovas Manor (ancient name –Adamhof, Odumova) is the cultural monument of the state importance. It has two well preserved buildings of the 19th century. The Manor was built in 1851. Landlords Korfs, Žemčužņikova and Karaulovs were the owners of the manor. There was discovered a mineral spring in 1905. It was named in the honour of St. Helena. Mineral water gained the highest awards in London in 1912 and in 1913 in Paris. Currently, there is no mineral spring anymore. However, there is Adamova sanatorium boarding-school for children with psychoneurological illnesses. A modern sports complex was built in 2006 for organizing national sports competitions. We offer sauna, conference rooms, boat rental, and accommodation for 120 people.

An afforested island in the Gulf of Finland, approximately 14 km to the North of Tallinn.  There is a network of small roads and trails on the island.  Forests:  Mostly 1.1, 1.2 and 4.2.  Information:  www.aegna.ee.  A ferry boat to the island departs from the port at Pirita. 

Hike around the shore of the island, where you will find all kinds of environments – dunes, sandy areas, rocky areas and places with lots of reeds (~9 km).
