The Liepas farm in Dobele is a dynamically developing plant farm, specialising in fruit trees, berry bushes and roses.  On offer are locally grown, high-quality and appropriate for Latvia's climate fruit tree, rose and berry bush planting materials, with a wide variety of types.  Visitors will see plants in containers and an introductory garden which shows how a small fruit tree looks when it is grown up.  During the spring, visitors will enjoy the blooming season, and during the summer and autumn they will be able to taste cherries, plums, apples and pears.

The Rakši leisure venue offers a look at one and two-hump camels, llamas, alpacas and guanacos. Pancakes made of healthy camel milk can be tasted, you can ride llamas or camels, and there are other forms of active recreation, as well.

Lielzemenes is a traditional homestead in Zemgale region offering to learn about the Latvian traditional lifestyle heritage and the sauna ritual. The hosts are professional sauna masters and have established the Latvian Sauna School where they pass on their knowledge and skills to those willing to master sauna rituals. Based on centuries old sauna practices they have developed a range of efficient sauna procedures. To reach the desired effects, Latvian sauna uses lots of material from trees and herbs such as whisks made of birch, oak, linden, various grasses and wild flowers, herbal brews. The hosts are knowledgeable to apply special sauna procedures for stress relief, general invigoration, strengthening immunity, etc.

The countryside holiday complex Gravas is situated in a picturesque pine forest welt, 70 km away from Riga, but from Bauska only in a 6-minute drive. Offering the rituals of Herbal sauna, Love sauna, Bridal sauna under the supervision of a professional bath-house attendant; a bath of goat milk, massages which will bring you and your body unbelievable sensations, as well as a place to spend the night, paintball, archery. During the sauna ritual the bath –house attendant will share her knowledge about the effect of sauna, the natural materials used in saunas and other subjects.

From 2012 Gravas have started the production of eco-products: herbal teas, sauna pixies, self-made scrubs, goat milk, goat cheese, goat cottage cheese, soap made of goat milk.

The open-air pizzeria not far from Valmiera in Beverina district. It is an opportunity to spend time in the countryside, relax and take part in making real Italian pizza, where everyone has a chance to make a pizza according to one’s taste, baking it on open fire in a wooden stove. Available clear water and Italian wine, coffee and tea. Apart from pizzas, it is possible to buy tiramisu, having ordered it beforehand.

The farm engages in cattle breeding, fruit and vegetable growing, and production and processing of milk and meat. Contact the farm in advance to purchase homemade products, learn to make cheese, and bake your own bread on the basis of ancient recipes. This farm is part of the culinary heritage of Latgale.

Found in the Alsunga Museum, the workshop has been open since 2009, showing people how various ceramics can be made from clay.  Visitors can try their hand at the task or just watch as the clay is shaped, spun and, finally, glazed.

This centre is a workshop for eleven potters, including some from the “Potters School.” The centre offers various activities, including master classes, demonstrations of pottery work, and exhibitions of finished products. You can commission products or buy new ones.
