	Caunites	This Latvian tradition farmstead, located 12 km from Jelgava, offers to learn about ancient bread baking traditions, Latvian annual festivals, and various types of handicrafts, such as weaving and making puzuri decorations and beeswax candles. The house is designed and decorated in the traditional Latvian style and exudes an authentic ambience while having modern facilities. The heart of the farmstead is a barn with a bread baking stove. The hosts bake rye sourdough bread from “Dobeles dzirnavnieks” flour and the traditional salinātā rye bread from “Grauda spēks” flour. Salinātā rye bread is registered in the EU food quality scheme as a product with traditional speciality guaranteed. The hosts offer to enjoy various traditional seasonal activities. 	Petera Tutana pineju darbnica	Pēteris Tutāns runs a wickerwork workshop, “Kalndaķi,” in a lovely location near Milzukalns hill. The workshop dates back to the mid-1980s as a family operation. In 1999, the family turned the workshop into a true business, “Pinumu Pasaule,” which today is one of the largest wickerwork companies in Latvia. The company is run by wife Lolita, while Pēteris works at his creative workshop, “Kalndaķi.” Raw materials for the wickerwork include debarked or not debarked osier wicker from trees which grow on the farm. The whole process from growing the wicker and finishing the product is handled by hand. Pēteris weaves baskets, kitchen utensils, interior design objects, garden furnishings, toys for children and various souvenirs. Visit the workshop and see how the wicker is grown. Purchase finished products or take part in a wickerwork master class. Overnight accommodations are available.
	House of traditions "Zvanitaji" in Rucava	The wooden building was erected in the late 19th century and features a museum which demonstrates the way in which people lived more than 100 years ago. Exhibits include household objects, the Rucava folk costume, socks and decorated mittens. Various events involving discussions, singing, games, dancing and weaving are organised, as are cultural and educational programmes such as “Evening Activities” and “A Rucava Banquet” with local foods from lower Kurzeme. Latvian cuisine: Buns, sourdough porridge, homemade bread, honey, herbal teas.
	Spilves winery	The small winery of the holiday house "Spilve" offers to buy and taste grape wines and distillates. The unique products are made from home-grown grapes, apples, rhubarb and honey. During the warmer months, guests are welcome to take an excursion through the vineyards. The cozy outdoor terrace offers wine tasting with snacks, small visitors and drivers with fruit juices! 	PIENA MUIZA - BERGHOF PIRTIS	The Berghof Milk Estate with saunas. The weekend sauna at the estate offers a country sauna and the holiest type of traditional sauna – the black rock sauna. This is a ritual which takes several hours, with handmade switches, massages, scrubs, rinsing and herbal teas from Sieksāte. The mansion of the estate has a wet sauna, a steam sauna, a basin with a stream and a fireplace. The Rožu Saloon off ers delicious dining, and the Milk Spa allows you to relax in milk baths. 	Kesterciema Peonijas	A collection of peonies in the garden in Ķesterciems which is just 300 metres from the sea. The collection has been put together over the course of many years, with some that were first grafted in the 18th century and others that are completely new varieties. Each year the range is supplemented, with a bit more than 800 different kinds right now. Peony blossoms are at their peak attractiveness around mid-June.
	Subrakkrasti (ARA Kalnozols)	The company “ARA Kalnozols, Ltd.” is located in the same territory with the guest house "Šubrakkrasti", located in Madona region, Bērzaune parish, 8 km from Lake Kāla, in a quiet place surrounded by nature. "Šubrakkrasti" is both a guest house and a non-standard farm, which offers excursions, during which you will be able to get acquainted with the history of the house (previously there was a dairy), owner Raimonds Aizstrauts - factory equipment production workshop, his motorsports (four-time USSR champion in motorsports) and work on CNC and laser engraving equipment. Walk through the manicured countryside, which includes a mountain with a serpentine road, landscaped gardens, ponds, etc. There is a 9-hole meadow golf course in the area. 	The “Kuksu muiza” restaurant	The restaurant offers local cuisine from fresh and seasonal ingredients. Dishes are prepared on order and individually or to guests at the local estate. A global approach to cuisine.

	Herbsts Cidery	Herbsts is a family-owned cidery producing natural, locally crafted cider in the western region of Latvia, Kurzeme. Our Story This is a story of old orchards, wild apple trees, and a passionate pursuit of creating ciders with a unique Baltic flavour. Apples Cider is made from apples hand-picked in a 60-year-old orchard. The search for distinctive cider flavours also lead the cider makers to the wild, where forest apples with unique tastes are found. During the winter months, a slow fermentation process transforms the apple juice into a flavourful and refreshing drink. Ciders Each cider tells a story of how its distinctive, unique flavour was discovered. The experiments and dedication were rewarded at the Nordic Cider Competition (NICA) in 2023, where "Dullais Dauka" won a gold medal and "Plūsis" took silver – the first international recognition for Herbsts ciders. For Visitors Each autumn, cider harvest gatherings are organised, offering everyone a chance to enjoy active time in the orchard, taste previous years' ciders, and enjoy a meal cooked over an open fire. 	The Drubazas farm	After viewing the lovely scenes that are a part of the Drubazi nature trail, which runs along the banks of the Ancient Abava River Valley, the owner offers tastings of homemade wine. He produces wines from 12 different berries, including raspberries, black currants, blackberries, lingonberries, grapes, sea buckthorn, and others.
	Piekuni – sauna rituals and the Latvian way of life	Piekūni offers Latvian sauna rituals merged with folk songs and herbal teas. You can then sleep in a bed made of round wood and designed in accordance with ancient Latvian style. The owners will offer you a tour to tell you all about how our ancestors dealt with the environment – plants, rocks, sources of energy, etc.
	Laima Ceramics	Welcome to our ceramics workshop, where we’ll be happy to tell you all about the miraculous transformations that occur in the world of ceramics. We offer creative activities in shaping, spinning, sgraffito, a master class in rolled dishes, a common dish with handprints, fish scale vases or bowls, casting your hand in gypsum, and a chance to meet the family of horses that we have. 	Abulkrastu pirts	A lovely and quiet family farm 12 km from Valmiera offers Latvian sauna rituals, various spa procedures, and massages (classical, medicinal, honey-based, etc.). Listen to relaxing music during the procedures, after which you will be offered ecologically pure herbal teas from herbs which have been collected near the farm. There is a heated outdoor jacuzzi along with a swing-set, a playground for children, as well as a series of creative workshops in accordance with the season of the year.

	Zilver Beverages	Zilver beverages come from the Zilver family country house in Sigulda. Our Story Initially, the cider makers produced cider for their own needs, using the harvest from their apple orchard. The family business’s main products are fruit and berry wines. Cider became a favourite drink of the Zilver family, especially in the summer. Its taste and quality were also appreciated by family friends and clients, which led the family to expand cider production. Apples The farm’s apple orchard has around 80 different apple varieties, some of which are specifically selected for cider-making. Ciders Zilver produces Quince Semi-Sweet Cider and Wild Apple Cider. For Visitors Guests are offered a tour of the production facility, as well as cider and wine tastings with snacks. During the summer season, visitors can observe the "captured apples" – apples grown directly in bottles and later infused with apple brandy. 	Pienjani Cidery	The only organically certified cider in Latvia. Our Story The fruit farm was established in 2009 with the aim of creating an orchard of cider apple varieties for the owner’s enjoyment and producing cider. Since 2021, they have been producing, testing, and exploring various cider flavours. Apples The farm boasts the largest organic apple orchard in Latvia, covering nearly 40 hectares, where various apple varieties are grown, including 'Monta', 'Dace', 'Auksis', 'Gita', 'Edīte', and other popular varieties. The orchard also features several apple varieties specifically for cider production. They collaborate with The Horticultural and Experimental Station at Pūre and the Horticulture Institute at Dobele. Ciders The Pienjāņi cider brand Jēpis is the only organically certified cider in Latvia. They also offer fresh apples and apple juice under the Jēpis label. 	Farmers’ market STRAUPES FARMERS’ MARKET	This market sells produces from local farmers and home manufacturers who offer traditional and seasonal food which they grow and prepare themselves. You can purchase vegetables, fruit, fresh and smoked meat, cheese, bread, country tortes, homemade wine and various household and gardening objects.
	The Juri farm	The owners of the farm inherited it. There is a wood house with decorative trim and window shutters. The owners use milk from their own cows to produce cheeses on the basis of old and modern recipes. You can taste the cheese, milk, clotted milk, buttermilk and other dairy products, watch how they are made, and take part in the process yourself. There are also animals to view.
	The IKS Park	The IKS Park organisation offers rural joy, playing around and relaxing at the edge of a forest. Visitors can engage in crafts, learn about medicinal plants from Latvia in an interactive way and also learn about the properties of same. There are two different territories. One is an open-air exhibition of medicinal plants, with six beds of various plants. Visitors are invited to stroll through the garden and learn about plants that might be useful and appropriate for them. There is also room for mini-football, a barefoot trail, an “ant trail” that is a relay race with various steps, a pergola and a class to teach about nature. Second, there is a small farm with workshops and a mini zoo. Under a large canopy or in a cosy fireplace hall, visitors can try their hand at traditional and modern Latvian crafts. There is also a chance to play various games, some of which are quite ancient, indeed. Master craftsmen at the farm offer practical activities that allow visitors to produce their own souvenirs. Class topics include weaving of blankets from plants, jewellery making, soap making, grinding of flour, etc.
