“We educate, create feelings and inspire people.” Those are the key concepts of the “Mūsu avenes” raspberry farm. The farm specialises in summer and autumn raspberries, but it also grows quince, honeysuckle, mulberry, rhubarb and various seasonal vegetables. Owners of the farm began to offer informative and interactive tours in 2023. Learn how the farm is run, what it bases its work on, and how it ensures bio-economics and a circulation economy. You’ll also learn details about how to grow and pick raspberries. A special mood is created by a cupola tent at the farm which offers visitors a chance to enjoy and unrivalled surrounding landscape. The saloon is in the park of the Bīriņi Castle alongside a lake. It offers a lovely view from the summer terrace. Brantu manor is located in Smiltene county, Brantu parish. The manor was built in the 19th century, currently it is managed by Ilze Briede, who is a well-known bread baker in Latvia, and Nauris Zutis - the owner of "Pirts skola" ("Sauna school"). |

This is a breeding farm for wild animals. On 170 hectares, the family breeds European elks, fallow deer and white elks (some 400 head in all), as well as wild boar. A tour will allow you to look at the animals up close. You can taste venison foods such as shish-kabob and goulash, and you can purchase dried venison, salami and canned sautéed meats. |

The farm "Vilki" is a small green oasis among the extensive cereal fields of Zemgale. Here you can go on a pedestrian walk through the arboretum and farmland, discovering about 1000 different plants - both typical of the landscape of Latvia and quite unique. The company “ARA Kalnozols, Ltd.” is located in the same territory with the guest house "Šubrakkrasti", located in Madona region, Bērzaune parish, 8 km from Lake Kāla, in a quiet place surrounded by nature. "Šubrakkrasti" is both a guest house and a non-standard farm, which offers excursions, during which you will be able to get acquainted with the history of the house (previously there was a dairy), owner Raimonds Aizstrauts - factory equipment production workshop, his motorsports (four-time USSR champion in motorsports) and work on CNC and laser engraving equipment. Walk through the manicured countryside, which includes a mountain with a serpentine road, landscaped gardens, ponds, etc. There is a 9-hole meadow golf course in the area. There are also creative workshops - a soap maker or gift box making. |

Here you can examine and purchase crafts by more than 40 Lettigalian craftspeople. A guide dressed in an Ancient Lettigalian folk costume will tell you about the lives of ancient Baltic tribes, the emergence of craftsmanship in the region, ancient laws related to ethics and work, and traditions. There are demonstrations of the crafts and lessons about the ancient skills. Groups can enjoy a luncheon of Lettigalian dishes, and learn how to bake bread and prepare beverages in an old-fashioned Lettigalian kitchen. The local craftsmen's salon and home producer's store Cymuss and Latgaļu kukņa, a member of the Latgale culinary heritage network. For groups, Latgaļu kukņa offers lunches and a special skills school for learning to prepare Latgalian food, bread and drinks. Adults and children will be able to learn about farm animals, view a collection of ancient tools, enjoy a country sauna with birch and juniper switches, drink herbal tea with honey, and taste carrot buns. This market sells produces from local farmers and home manufacturers who offer traditional and seasonal food which they grow and prepare themselves. You can purchase vegetables, fruit, fresh and smoked meat, cheese, bread, country tortes, homemade wine and various household and gardening objects. |

The potter produces candelabras, dishes and whistles that you can buy at the workshop. She also accepts commissions for new products. You can work with your own clay and take the resulting product home with you as a souvenir. |

A garden of feelings, where peonies smell, birds sing and the heart rejoices! About 730 peonies of different varieties grow in the garden of "Romju pojenes", which will delight every visitor with their variety of scents, colors and shapes. The owners of the farm inherited it. There is a wood house with decorative trim and window shutters. The owners use milk from their own cows to produce cheeses on the basis of old and modern recipes. This family-run café is on the edge of the Jelgava-Tērvete road, at the historic Pūteļi dairy processing plant. Latvian cuisine: Goat’s cheese, cold beet soup, grey peas with bacon, herring with potatoes and cottage cheese, roast pork, veal with wild mushroom sauce, pork roast in heather honey, crepes with heather honey, rye bread, birch juice, cranberry beverage, vodka, local beers.
