Along with Valmiermuizas brewery revives its historical and cultural centre. While visiting the place one can get to know the history of the estate and the making process of beer from natural raw materials up to finished production. During the visit of the brewery one can taste live beer and listen to stories about the Latvian traditional holiday drink.

Brewing of beer and non-alcoholic beverages. In 2014 1.86 million liters of beer were produced. In 2014, Valmiermuižas Alus earned revenues of EUR 3.39 million, or 36% more than in 2013. The company sold 1.86 million litres of beer, or 27.3% more than the year before. Approximately 1% of the output was exported to Estonia. With support from the Rural Support Service, Valmiermuižas Alus invested EUR 1.1 million in development to produce porter beer, non-alcoholic sparkling beverages from Latvian fruits and berries, as well as kvass.
Small manor brewery near Valmiera where live beer is slowly brewed. The granary of the manor house offers a Beer Boutique and Valmiermuiža Beer Kitchen, allowing guests to discover how to pair beers with various foods. A small manor brewery that not only brews a wide range of different beers, but also non-alcoholic beverages such as the malt drink “Zelta zirgs”, kvass, and the “Gardu muti” soft drinks – sodas, fruit drinks, chilled teas, and flavoured water.

Alongside the brewery is a store which sells live beer, homemade goodies and selected souvenirs.
The “Valmiermuižas alus virtuve” saloon popularises Latvian beers and uses beer in various dishes. A modern approach to homemade products is used to prepare foods and beer-based snacks. There is a beer garden during the summer, and the saloon merges traditional things with modern ones.
